Grandson loved it!

My grandson loved this activity. Be sure to put down a tarp or something out on a sidewalk. It’s dried plaster and lots of plaster chips when digging for all the treasures. Kept him busy for a while.

Fun excavation kit for kids

My daughter and son enjoyed digging into this cool looking octopus sitting on a treasure chest block. Inside were 12 different pieces of pirate booty to find. To keep the dusty mess down, I placed this plaster block into an aluminum baking pan. Once moistened, the digging into the block was easy. Overall a fun activity and this would make a great gift.

Great gift for my 5 year old nephew!

Fun way to pass the time

This was a great project to do with my 6 year old. It kept him busy for a long time. It was easy to find all of the treasures after soaking the chest for a bit.

Fun for your little Matey!

This was pretty cool! We were all surprised at how big and heavy the chest was. We soaked it the recommended time and then my 6 year old dug in. The mallet broke almost immediately so we just used a regular hammer. It took quite awhile to chip around and find everything - over an hour. It was pretty messy- plaster chips and dust, but easy to vacuum up when done. Our key was broken but every other treasure item was pretty cool!
