I bought this as it was a great price for the batteries alone simple as that. You cannot say otherwise. It will act as a Power Bank but not on a smart phone, tablets and iPad only. It will charge the batteries provided. IT WILL NOT CHARGE GENUINE CANON LP-E6N BATTERIES MINE NOR ANY OTHER CANON USERS I KNOW. That said the price of the batteries alone makes this good buy.

Very handy product! Instead of multiple canon single chargers I just use this and a high power usb! Would definitely recommend for photographers on the go who might also need to use an external charger to top them up while ideal!

Excellent charger and keeper for spare cards

I always brought Canon stuff for my camera, but wanted an extra spare battery and the Canon one was really expensive so I thought I'd give these a go. They work in my Canon D700 and seem to last as long as the Canon one. My batteries seem to go flat quickly but I think that is because I'm using a long lens and and the auto focus drains them. The charger is good I can use the USB to charge in the cat while I'm on the move. But the best part for me was that I got two batteries plus the charger for less than one Canon battery would have cost me.

Looks the part, we’ll designed and seems like the perfect solution. Unfortunately the until doesn’t seem to charge the batteries very well. In fact, even when left plugged in overnight they failed to charge the internal batteries. I took out the batteries and charged them using my canon charger so the batteries themselves seem ok but having to take another charger just to charge the batteries completely defeats the point of a portable charger.

The whole idea with this product is that you transport the batteries in their own charger. And there lies the problem: with these batteries you can not close the lid. Useless for me then but I guess the batteries and charger work separately.
