Q: Could you comfortably wear a sweatshirt underneath this jacket or is too close-fitting for that?

These are very stylish and slim fitting. I have a navy in M and gray in L. I’m 5’10 and 185. I can’t wear much underneath the M but love the snug fit. With L there enough room to wear a layer underneath. The sleeves are tight so if you have big arms go up a size. Good value and style at this price.

Q: I ordered some for the holidays, and are these actually thermal? They don't look thermal?

The sleeves and back of the jacket are a fleece material. The front and hood are a puffed material filled with a man-made material, not down. By thermal, if you mean a thermal weave, the jacket does not contain that material.

Q: Will it perform for golfers?

I think you will be able to golf in this jacket. The sleeves are very light and should not impact a full swing.

Q: I am 5,9 and weigh 230. What size do you recommend? I see a lot of other comments saying that the size recommendations are too big..

I am 510 and I weigh 180 and the small fits me very well. Small is my normal jacket size and this fits no different than any other jacket I’ve gotten that is also a small. One thing to note is that the Forearms of the jacket do you seem a bit tight which is fine if you’re wearing them the sleeves down but can be an issue if you wanna roll them up.
