i am a professional tennis racket stringer. I am many customers that love this tennis string. They are very durable. Lots of power , touch and control. I Think I May Have Been Scammed
I bought this reel because it was on sale. Probably, many of you did the same. Well, either this isn't RPM Blast, or it was very poorly stored, very old, or otherwise compromised, because this string broke in ridiculous ways.Twice on this reel, within 2 hours, this string broke *on the edge of the racket*. Not on the string bed, literally the outside part of the string, wrapped around the racket grommet, just broke. This has literally never happened to me in 10 years of playing tennis, and it happened TWICE with this same reel. And no, I did not hit the ground, or shank the ball on the side of the racket, or anything like that. It just broke on the impact from a totally standard shot.Not only that, but the performance of this string was far worse. Off the stringer, it felt strange and dead, and then it would feel okay for about an hour after that, but then immediately start notching and losing its snap back. Again, I've played with RPM for a year now, so I'm pretty familiar with how it feels, and this string just doesn't feel the same.Like I said before, my best guess is that they're selling very old reels, which haven't been stored well. I'm not saying they're labeling a non RPM product as RPM, but I am quite certain that the string I received when I bought these reels was not up to the quality as, say, the string on the reels I buy from tennis warehouse.

The product was not as advertised, the package says 18g, the actual string was 16g
The string was advertised as 18 gauge, the package says 18g the string is actually 16g, somehow the wrong gauge string was placed on the reel, the actual string g is 16 not 18.
