Bootlid Trunk Latch Bracket For VW Volkswagen Bora Jetta MK4 01-05

The original VW part includes a plastic linkage relay lever that usually breaks. The lever is only sold as part of the assembly. I got this cheapest available part and installed it. It works, but for how long is anybody's guess. If it lasts a couple of years before breaking, I'll probably buy it again. The official replacement from VW also breaks, and it costs several times as much as this Chinese part. There is another solution available, a patented all-metal part that fits over and replaces the broken plastic lever, but it costs 3-4 times as much as this part.

despite that others didn't receive a part with the emergency trunk open connections, and that the picture of the product shows a part without those connections, the part I receved had the connections and everything went together in 20-minutes. great, thanks much better than the dealer $75 part (or at least as good with much better price).
