Received this late last year and it quickly became a part of my life. I unconsciously depend upon it and use it so frequently that I forgot to review it. I use it for transferring larger amounts of data back and forth via USB flash drive between my micro-USB Android tablet and my desktop PC. Wifi is too slow for large files and plugging the tablet directly into the PC is too inconvenient. Instead, I work on the PC throughout the day and when I create or come across a file I need on the tablet, I copy it to the USB key and continue on. At the end of the day, I take the USB key to where I use my tablet, grab the OTG adapter, and speedily - no wait - transfer the files to the tablet.My adapter is of high quality, is solidly built, and has worked flawlessly. I haven't tried it out on a USB-C port yet. I do hope to eventually plug a USB keyboard into the tablet using the adapter. Yes, the adapter+USB key is an awkward but temporary appendage to a tablet or phone, but anything you plug into a tablet or phone is going to stick out. I'm not clear on what the problem is with devices that have covers, but a micro-USB extension cord might provide a "slimmer" or "deeper" plug-in profile similar to what the power cord has??

This adapter worked perfectly on my S10e Samsung phone. Just what I needed as the "missing link" to connect the phone's USB-C port to a cable I'm using to establish a wired ethernet connection. Quick and painless, plug it in and use it.

Works well enough if you don't have a protective case on your phone. If you do, you will have to remove the phone from the case in order to use this to transfer music or files.
