Replaces the standard rubber tee, the turf plug inserts 'into' the opening* in the base unit*(important - see note below). The ball sits flush to the surface when a tee is not needed. Insert a regular wooden or plastic tee only when you need one. Plus, you'll never have to dig out those broken tee stubs jamming the rubber tee holder! Made from very dense and durable tee line turf approx 1 1/8" deep. Each Tee plug is individually hand crafted. As a client's feedback said "Clever idea that works great". Simple to install, remove the rubber tee (and the plastic sleeve (only on older models of the base unit ) and insert by pressing in (from the top) using a tee. Use scissors to trim (if required) so the top of the tee plug is at or just below the surface of the hitting pad. This protects the turf plug from damage. Installed as recommended, these plugs are very durable. There can be subtle differences in the thickness of the turf pads. If the plug should push thru below the surface, attach the enclosed felt pad to the bottom of the turf plug and re-insert.
