Best binder I have tried so far for storing and carrying DVDs
I needed a DVD binder with the following features: 1) at least 200 disk capacity 2) 3-ring binder style, with removable sleeves 3) zips shut, or in some other similar manner protects the DVDs while traveling.I am using this binder with the "Case Logic CDP-200 200 Disc Capacity CD ProSleeve Pages (White)." Each "page" has eight DVD sleeves, so 25 pages total. The binder is about 70% full, so I estimate I have room for about another 50 or so DVDs. The sleeves are not ideal, but the best I've tried so far; details are in a separate review of the sleeves.I like the materials of construction. The outside is a durable woven nylon type material. The zipper is a hefty-looking plastic zipper. You might think metal would be better, but plastic doesn't corrode and doesn't need to be lubricated. The 4" D-rings are solid, and snap closed with no gap. I know this binder is not waterproof, but a little rain or snow is not going to get through to the DVDs inside. The inside of the binder is a little bit wider than a standard binder (about 1/2"), and the zippered edge is flexible, so you can actually put pages in that are too big for a standard binder, and still zipper it shut. It won't accommodate DVD sleeves designed for an "oversized" binder, but the above Case Logic sleeves fit fine. There is a carrying handle on the spine, so one-handed transport is straightforward. There is a fan-fold type paper organizer attached to the top inside, with a zippered pouch on the side that faces toward the inside of the binder. With the DVD sleeves I am using, I use a special tool to get a DVD out of its sleeve, and this pouch is perfect for storing the tool.

Expensive but Good!!
These things are heavy and expensive and still not the perfect 3 ring binder. But they are the best and most secure binder of their type on the market.Perfect for messy and disorganized but bright students. You might have to assist and ADHD kid with organization but at least this book will help them get everything to and from school.Perfect for collectors. This isn't a fancy folio for collectors but it is reasonably durable and the zip closure keeps things fairly secure. We collect Disney pins and feel comfortable that they stay secure and safe in these binders.

Great binder, but our last order was clearly used
We love the Case-it binders and have ordered them for our boys for the last 6 years and have always been very happy with the product. My last order was clearly a returned item that was shipped to us with a broken zipper AND a padlock attached to the handle. After contacting Amazon, we were immediately sent a replacement and have returned the used one..just disappointed that the used & broken ten was sent out in the first place.

Somewhat flimsy, but well-designed otherwise...
We ordered this for my son, who started middle school. The school's shopping list called for an extra-large binder to hold notebooks for each of his classes, plus an accordion folder. We could not find any such binder at any of the local stores--including the office supply stores--even at back-to-school time. We sent him to school with two smaller case-it binders, plus a separate accordion folder, and juggling all this proved to be an organizational problem for him.I finally decided to look online, and lo and behold, there was indeed this 4" binder...and it even had an accordion folder IN it!! WOOHOO!! The design is beautiful, and holds in one case what previously took three. It comes with a briefcase type of handle, as well as a detachable shoulder strap to make carrying it in school a breeze. My disappointment is that, for $25, we get an accordion folder that is made of a thin film--no doubt this will tear and separate considerably by the end of the school year--and even the outside of the case is somewhat flimsy too. I've bought my son several Case-Its in the past, and they've a fairly consistent history of zipper breakage, or the stitching coming undone at the zipper. With that said, Case It is about the only brand I've found that makes a binder this big, so they sort of corner the market. If anyone knows of another brand that makes them this large, please do let me know!!!!

Strong and durable, huge!
We’ve bought this binder year after year for school, however, they really could be reused because they always hold up so well. We just always get new colors to start a new year freshly. My child is required to use this binder daily and is rough on it- dropping it all the time, throwing it around in the car, cramming it into backpacks, and stuffing it full. But it has never fallen apart and still looks great. I try to spot clean it every so often, but it seems to repel dirt and stains well without that being necessary. I love that there’s a handle and strap for various carrying options- they both hold a lot of weight and we’ve never had a tear in the 3 plus years we’ve used these products. The colors are rich and bright, this one is a true blue- more primary in color. The rings are huge and hold a tremendous amount making it easy to organize and divide multiple subjects and for papers and folders to move along them easily. The pockets are deep enough and hold papers in place well, even though being dropped and shuffling. The zipper has never caught or gotten stuck. It’s pricey for a binder, but it’s great quality and I’ll save my money not needing to replace it often.

HUGE
HUGe and strong and roomy with good straps. The rings are good quality but like all these binders, and I have had 3 from this company, cannot be sat on like a kid may do on the school bus or the rings warp. I would only recommend this for an older child who knows how to take care of it or it becomes pretty useless after the rings become warped. I would recommend a 3" for the purposes of most youngsters, but again, must be careful to not bend the rings. Great carrying strap comes with it that can go over the shoulder.

Overall, the king-sized binder is great for keeping all your studies in one place.
Overall, my son loves this king-sized binder with a handle and strap for high school, everything he needs in one place, for all of his classes. The size and weight of the binder (he puts 5 subjects in it) requires a little more padding and comfort in the handle. Also, for a king-sized binder, the d-rings could be made a little more heavy-duty. It is king-sized afterall.

It's a good folder for my middle schoolers for all their stuff
Item arrived as promised. It's a good folder for my middle schoolers for all their stuff. The shoulder strap looks thin compared to the size of the folder. I do hope it lasts them through the year, it was definitely expensive and I hope it's worth it
