I was looking for fancy, high-quality, legit gold wrapping paper and this is the stuff you want! I bought one roll and ended up buying two more. I had so many compliments on the gifts I delivered. "Wow, Kristen, your present looks beautiful." "This is wrapping paper worth saving." "Fanciest Christmas gift under the tree!" I highly recomend this paper. I do admit, it can be challenging to wrap some things that do not have stiff edges as it is a thick, stiff, paper. It's worth it though if you are trying to impress!

I'm gonna toot my own horn for a second. I'm a GREAT gift wrapper. My friends get so excited to see HOW I've wrapped their gifts, they tell me it's too pretty to open. That said, this wrapping paper is nearly impossible to work with. It is so thick and heavy that it fights back. I've had fewer issues giving cats baths. I purchased this for my daughter's birthday gifts, as it was the only solid red paper I could find, and at her party I was asked REPEATEDLY if I had let my husband wrap them. Even my daughter asked "Did you let dad wrap them because your hands are bothering you again?" Listen. If you're looking for something to make a fancy bullet proof vest out of, this might be a good option. Two layers should keep you safe even from nuclear warfare. Preppers, build your bunker out of this instead of concrete. Don't wrap your gifts with it, unless you're wrapping something that may explode.

This is absolutely the most beautiful gold gift wrapping paper I have ever purchased. It is easy to use with any type of tape and the roll is quite lengthy to wrap many large boxes. I have also ordered the black color which is equally as gorgeous presenting with a leather like texture. Extremely happy!!

i had to wrap a gift that was over 5 feet tall in a big thick box. This paper was as beautiful as it was durable and I needed both. It survived a lot of rough treatment and didn't lose it's looks. I used packing tape to hold it together. It was perfect. I presented this gift to a very special client so it needed to look great but also, since the box was so big I needed a paper that was strong.

I got this in red last year for Christmas and am buying another roll this year. It's almost impossible to find wrapping paper that is as high quality as this. Some other reviewers complain about the thickness and say the paper is hard to work with. They're not completely wrong. You should get this paper if you love high-end, quality paper and wrapping gifts to the nth degree. It does take a little more time but the end product is amazing. It's true that this paper isn't ideal for wrapping small gifts--though you can get around that by wrapping in a different way--particularly by leaving a lot less excess so that the folds aren't too many layers of paper. Also, I love to wrap gifts without using tape. No, that's not a joke. You crease the paper very hard at the corners and edges. Then you add a ribbon to hold the ends in (and b/c it looks great). As an aid / cheat, I use Magic Tape which is less sticky than regular scotch tape. It keeps the paper closed until I can get the ribbon tied. Then I pull it off. It comes off easily and doesn't leave a mark or residue on the paper. This paper is ideal for this kind of wrapping b/c the heavy weight paper holds a crease in a way that a lighter paper never can. I LOVE this paper. Just be sure that what you want is actually heavy paper.

I’m not the type to ever write reviews but I had to for this... Best gift wrap ever! I love the texture and how strong it is. There’s also a lot of it on one roll. My gifts look so luxurious :) I will definitely purchase again.

Pros:The quality of the paper is superb. Very decadent and high end quality as gift wrap. Doesn’t rip easily when working with it and repositioning tape is not an issue, paper won’t lift or tear if you need to remove or reposition the tape due to a special film/coating that is on the paper.Con(s):The width of the paper measures 1/8” shy of 30 inches.Final thoughts:This is my second purchase of this paper. First time was 2018 when I started my project. Now that I know how much paper my project would take I opted to purchase a double size roll which ended up being more cost effective. Although this is gift wrap, I’m using this paper for a 3D wall decor project which consists of 3”x3” squares folded into 3-sided pyramid triangles. So one square is typically narrower than 3 inches but I make it work. I’m also using hot glue on my project and have been able to pull apart mistakes in areas I’ve used hot glue with minimal to no damage.For gift wrap or a 3D wall decor project this paper is worth the value.

This wrapping paper is so thick and unpliable that it's virtually impossible to wrap a gift with, especially small items, so that it it is tightly enclosed. The problem is compounded by the fact that even the stickiest tape doesn't adhere very well to the surface of the paper. I would like to return it, but I cut off a piece before I discovered this problem. I had never spent this much for Christmas wrapping paper before. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed.

I purchased this roll of paper as I was creating a wrapped Christmas Tree display for my granddaughters. This paper was not flexible - any movement - it would tear along the edge - Scotch Brand - scotch tape would not stick to the paper. It would be great as a table cover as it is beautifully embossed, but not as wrapping paper.

Super thick and pretty. Need packing tape or glue to hold paper to itself. Regular tape won’t be strong enough.
