First the positives, the plushness of the comforter and ruffles that line the edges give such a welcoming look to the bed. The comforter and shams both get softer with each washing. The pattern is beautiful, it’s exactly what the Laura Ashley brand has become known for.Ok the negatives, when taken out of the package the comforter immediately hits you with a rather offensive odor reminiscent of onions. That’s the best way I can describe it. After a thorough washing in the washer it’s gone. Though I will say that a large capacity washer is definitely necessary to wash this comforter due to its thickness and size.I have purchased a second comforter bc my first one tore underneath in such a way that couldn’t be sewn.Given these negatives I did choose to purchase again.

Color very faded. Background not near white. Thin material. Side ruffles do not lay evenly around the bottom.

Very good quality for the price. The floral side is more white background. Backside is solid cream. It’s beautiful. Fluffy and soft. It is light weight. But warm.
