bodkin
I'm looking forward to using these. I have always used a safety pin in the past. This should work better.

Perfect for machine embroidery
I use the pointed end to pull away tear away stabilizer from the back of my embroidery projects. I damaged the other end of mine by getting it under a needle a couple of years ago. I have looked for a replacement for a while. I thought they had quit making these. Was glad to find it again!

Works great
I just traced a sling bag pattern onto waxed canvas and this Hera marker was the perfect tool

The larger one especially is an ingenious design
I'm no seamstress but I had a couple different items to fix where string or elastic needed to be re-threaded (sweatpants string that fell out and replacement elastic cord for the edge of a steering wheel cover (the original one wasn't very strong and it snapped). Tried a suggestion I found online of using a safety pin to feed the cord through but it was taking a ridiculous amount of time and in the case of the really narrow opening on the steering wheel cover, it was very hard on my fingers. Tried this instead; I may never need them again but they were cheap, very clever, and easy to throw in a sewing kit in case I ever do need them again. They were still fairly hard on my fingers and if you have any weakness or arthritis in your hands you will find them a little challenging/uncomfortable, but not nearly as hard as using a safety pin.

Quilters tool
This tool could be used to the number of ways. But most often I use it to mark sewing lines instead of using chalk or a marker that may or may not wash out.

Indispensable - how did I live without these?
How many times, while trying to coax elastic through a casing, have I had a safety pin come open, snagging the fabric and refusing to come back out without a fight? More than I care to count, that's how many times.I'm not a seamstress by any stretch, and end up learning about things the hard way. It's been years since I needed to perform the elastic-through-channels maneuver, and I was dreading it. I was just clicking around and saw this item. I read the description and ordered without hesitation. I had to be patient, because the order arrived without this item, but Amazon replaced it, and I have a new best friend! (Forgive the hyperbole.) I didn't even use it right the first few times -- I didn't realize that the larger one comes apart, and a pair of "claws" holds the elastic -- and I loved it anyway. Now that I actually read the directions, I will never be without one of these.

Works great!
I really really like this little gadget. I've been sewing for 50 years - and finally got one. It is great for making the crease marks on fabric, but I also use it when I've sewn right sides together and have to turn right sides out - stick it inside your item and run it along the seam with your finger on the outside - works better than anything else I've tried to get the item turned completely and is especially great for small projects that are hard to get pressed out completely. It can also be used to push out corners. I have the larger one, too, but I use this one more often.

Perfect
I bought these bodkins to pull through thick elastic for a project, I already have a standard (massive needle type) bodkin, but the clip one from this set looked ideal for the intended purposeOne of these is essentially a pair of tweezers with teeth with also a retaining clip to hold tight when ‘set’ to grip, it completed the task I needed it for quickly and effortlesslyThe other bodkin has a wired frame so although I haven’t yet used this one, I have tested it and it is very flexible so I imagine it’s perfect for threading through on curves and cornersI have photographed next to my existing bodkin to show the sizes of these two:I easily bent the wired one to show its purpose (it bent back into shape just as easily)The clip type bodkin is shown fully open in its max setting and I have included a close up of its teeth

Tolle Hilfsmittel
Wie fast alles von Clover einfach ein geniales Hilfsmittel.Deutlich besser in der Handhabung als die windigen Plastikteile einer deutschen Firma.

Smaller and more bendable than I had thought...
They do what they are supposed to. Worth watching a you tube clip if you haven’t used before. I was hoping they would be more substantial
