Great for a chicken coop
Just got it and mounted it as a thermostatically controlled fan for my chicken coop shed. Itโs gotten hot and the chickens donโt like the heat. Itโs mounted up in the roof rafters and the louvre blow the air down towards the coops floor. Allows me to have a fan that kicks on only when itโs warm to keep the flock cooler. Hopefully it lasts a few years, seems well built and heavy duty. Well worth the $72

Powerful Exhaust Fan That Moves a Lot of Air
I installed this exhaust fan to improve ventilation, and it has worked very well. It moves a lot of air and does a great job removing heat, humidity, and stale air from the space. The shutters open and close smoothly when the fan turns on and off.The fan feels well-built, and once installed, it has operated reliably. It has made a noticeable difference in keeping the area cooler and better ventilated. One helpful tip is to seal around the fan with exterior-grade caulk or weatherproof foam after installation. This helps prevent air leaks, keeps insects out, and gives the installation a cleaner finished look. The only minor downside is that itโs not completely silent. You can definitely hear it running, but thatโs expected for a fan moving this much air.Overall, itโs a powerful, dependable exhaust fan that performs exactly as advertised. Iโd recommend it to anyone needing better ventilation for a garage, workshop, greenhouse, or shed.

The best fan
This is the best fan. Larger motor, medium noise, speed adjustable. Runs in a preset temp mode or you can just turn it on manually anytime you wish. I use this fan in my commercial kitchen where we make a handcrafted seasoning called 1788.

Impressive for 12 inch fan
Has made a difference in my shop, removed hot air and helped with venting when I use paints or other harsh chems. Love the temp option

As advertised
I needed some sort of venting for my garage and this looked like it would be the right fit. It was pretty easy to install and I simply plugged it in to the same outlet my garage door opener operates off of. It's not super loud and moves a good bit of air. The temperature control seems to function as advertised, I haven't set a thermometer to see if it's accurate, but I've left it on for well over a week now and it cuts on when it's hot and shuts off when the weather is moderate so I don't see any reason to.My one critique of this item is that the other reviews are correct. The louver vanes are very lightly sealed and they routinely will pop open when the wind catches them. I may look at doing some of the fixes that others have used (i.e. a small spring, weight, magnet, etc.) if I notice any issues with it during the winter.

Great product
I recently had the chance to try out the iLIVING 12" Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan, and I must say, it's a game-changer for anyone looking to improve their home's ventilation.Design and Functionality: The fan is sleek, with a design that blends well with modern interiors. Installation was straightforward, and the fan's features like adjustable speeds and humidity control make it a versatile choice for any room size. The built-in thermostat and programmable settings are particularly useful for maintaining comfort without constant adjustments.Performance: When it comes to performance, this fan excels. It effectively removes humidity, odors, and moisture, which is crucial in preventing mold and mildew in the bathroom. The noise level is impressively low, especially considering its power, which makes it ideal for use at night or during quiet times. With a CFM of [specific CFM if available], it's perfect for spaces up to [size] square feet.Energy Efficiency: Being Energy Star certified, this fan not only performs well but does so efficiently, helping to keep utility bills in check. It's a thoughtful investment for those looking to save on energy costs while ensuring good air quality.Customer Service and Durability: From the reviews I've seen, the manufacturer stands behind their product with excellent customer service. There are reports of quick responses to inquiries and efficient handling of any rare issues with the product. Plus, the durability of this fan seems to match its performance, with many users noting years of reliable use.Overall, the [Fan Model Name] is not just a fan; it's an upgrade to your living space's comfort and health. Quiet and Powerful Exhaust
I installed this in the eave of a chicken coop. At full speed it is quiet and pulls draft through all openings. The temperature and speed control are integrated in a separate plugin device. Everything works perfectly.

Cooled my garage enough to be bearable in 100+ heat.
My office\game room has been in my small garage for years and in the summer time it can be pretty hot. I have a 13k btu AC in my wall , but with open rafters and no insulation, it's still hot in here. The AC gets it to about 88 when it's 110 outside. I had never thought of putting one of these in here, i'm dumb lol, but when i saw another house with one, i quickly looked them up. I didn't want to cut a huge hole in the house, so this was good enough. My garage is about 400sq ft, so didn't really know how much CFM i would need to make it better, so i just went with this one.Install was easy, as i have the tools and knowledge in using them. After it was in and i turned it on. It took about 45min to lower the temp from 88 to 80...when it was 105 outside. it was much more bearable and allowed the area around my work area to be nice. The temp gauge is 6.5ft above the ground too. So it's obviously hotter the higher you go, but the fan exhausting the hot air helps greatly.

Great exhaust fan for the garage
It's an easy install and works right out of the box. Just plug and play.It moves a good bit of air and is actually quite quiet. I can't hear it in the basement with the garage door closed and it doesn't vibrate at all unlike my fan hood in the kitchen.Haven't used the temp switch as I plugged it into a remote switch before going into the outlet and will just turn it on when I'm sawing or painting to remove dust and fumes.Great addition to the clean air aspect of the work space. Longevity remains to be seen but will update. So far a ten for the price and convenience.Recommended.

EXACTLY as described. Excellent purchase!
Works exactly as described. The controller kicks in perfectly to what my existing thermostats reads. Runs relatively quiet. Being for our greenhouse, itโs not so important for our application.
