Awesome drill bit.
Awesome bit. Drills quickly and smoothly using even a standard battery-powered drill (I have a corded heavy-duty drill that would be typical for this type of bit, but the hand drill works very well).

If you need to drill a long hole through concrete or cinder block ... this will do.
I have a mountain cabin that was constructed in an unusual way, involving walls that are about 18 inches thick, using a kind of hybrid cinder block material. I have a starlink internet connection. But I have had to prop open a door to get the cable through. So, I needed to drill a hole through a lot of tough stuff, including cinder block. I had managed to get a 1/2 inch hole through, but that wasn't enough to pass the Starlink connector. This drill bit did the trick. You're (obviously) going to want a rotary hammer drill (which I had), but crikey this 1 inch bit got through all that cinder-block type stuff in about 5 minutes. That's pretty freaking impressive. I'm going to need to put a few more holes through the wall, but frankly: this bit will do just fine.

Does what it should

Really good deal, Stays sharp.
I used it to drill a 24" hole and then followed by a 32" hole through solid concrete block & mortar 24" square pillars supporting the roof structure, to run wires for porch lighting. The construction was modern and solid. The drill bit wobbled a little bit because it is so long, but I ran my Delta hammer drill on high, and checked every couple of minutes for temperature of the end of the bit. It didn't overheat. I did both holes in about 15 minutes. The bit is still sharp. My customer stated they though it would take me an hour to drill those holes. I made big $$$$$

Great pilot bit
After dilling through 12 floors the bit was still sharp and drilling with no problems. I purchased two thinking it would not last the job but never needed the second.

Did the job. Had no problem going through block, brick, and 2x4 framing. I have only drilled a few holes so far but the bit is still in excellent shape.
