Touch Up Paint for Lexus - Nebula Gray Pearl 1H9 | Mercury Gray | Scratch and Chip Repair Kit - 0.84 Fl Oz (25ml)

I bought this “paint” to touch up a 2” scratch on our 2 yr old Lexus. The scratch is low between the rear wheel and bumper. Not terrible, but I notice it whenever I approach the vehicle from behind.I brushed the “paint” into the scratch, let it dry about an hour, then “blended” it with the solution as directed. Just like magic the scratch RE-appeared!I’ve tried this several times with variations. Right now I’m using Q-tips and alternating the “blending” solvent and alcohol like some sort of art restorer. But every time, so far, the scratch reappears. I’ve been referring to it as “paint” (with quotes) because its not like any paint I’ve ever used. As soon as you hit it with the “blending solution” it softens, becomes like rubber cement, and peels out of whatever scratch or chip you’re applying it to.Save yourself a little money and a lot of time.

This stuff is amazing. I borrowed my grandmothers Lexus for 3 months and when I returned the car, I wanted to make sure I gave it back to her looking better than it looked before she was kind enough to let me use her car. I noticed rock chips on the hood (this is a 2011 Lexus, so she has had many years to collect the rock chips.. there were a lot). It was either a very expensive new paint job or this stuff.. so I decided to try this stuff and it works so well. I definitely recommend this product.

Worked like a charm for deep nicks and chips down to the metal. However, applying to scratches even moderately deep ones became problem. No matter how light I would try to be in applying pressure while blending the paint in, it would not come out smooth and the solution ended up removing the paint I just applied to the scratch. All in all, I was able to cover the big nicks and chips on my hood and am pleased with it.

Looks to be a great kit, but color is off, a little light. A little hard to follow instructions but could just be me. Overall is a decent kit, but doesnt look like their demos.

Dark colors a no go, did not fill in and stay, might work with lighter colors

They mailed me 1/2 a bottle and won’t reply back! The color semi matches but it’s goes on flat not metallic! Waste of time and money .

I have an older Lexus and will use this product to touch up countless chips. Definitely looks like a more thorough way of doing it.

I bought this touch up paint to fix scratches but, this paint made it even worse.
