72227 decking-caps

I had originally purchsed a similar product that had solar lighting around the base of the cap. I sent those back because they were very cheap looking. I was extremely pleased with the quality of this product. Solid wood base is paintable to match the posts on which these were mounted. The look of our deck is much improved since installation of the caps. Easy to install, too. I would recommend this product.

They are advertised as copper but are really copper-coated plastic. Ugh!

They look great on top of the end-posts for the vineyard I put in last summer.

This one is plastic also. What is the point of reading product descriptions when thy are not accurate. This is not copper plated metal as stated. I paid more thinking I was not getting plastic.

As others have noted, these are copper-colored plastic, not copper.

Perfect fit.. used as top on mail box post. Easy to install.
