Glory Qin 5.0mm Stainless Steel Ball Chains & Matching connectors (#10, 10 feet)

Used this sturdy chain for fireplace damper control. Came with adapter clips to attach to another chain.

Don't know how to cut it!To make neck chains.

I specifically ordered 10ft of ball chain.*(*In an ideal world, I would always receive EXACTLY what is shown/described/selected by size, under all listings, from any seller on any platform. Suffice it to say, those scenarios haven't been happening. Perhaps, you are in the same boat as I am.)It is a good quality chain.I received all of the components (chain + connectors). BUT:1) I was shorted 7.5" of chain (I can assure you this is NOT an Amazon problem (Amazon employees are not cutting these chains to size. Simply not and much too difficult/time consuming. I will circle back to the challenge(s) of cutting the 4mm for the specific task(s)). 2) The connectors were packaged in a second plastic pouch within the bigger plastic pouch. The coiled chain was tied with a pretty ribbon. Nice presentation. However, it is metal rubbing up against metal in both instances; the connectors arrived scratched/have rub marks which is an issue since I was using some of the chain to make bracelets. I noticed other reviews from customers who bought certain lengths to fashion into necklace chains. It's a problem.⭐This seller is great. Because of shorted product being an issue of the company (& to reiterate, NOT...Amazon), I received problem resolution much to my satisfaction.(+/👍)Here is the crux:• I cut the chain four times (!)/(🤦). A big portion of it is being used to keep a gate closed. A traditional chain/lock formation is not feasible, in this case. The remainder I turned into a necklace but then decided I wanted two bracelets out of it instead + two 4" chains to hang ornaments. The 4mm width is virtually impossible to cut. I measured what I needed for the respective purposes, and I used a hand-held-tree-branch lopper with 10" handles which required two hands and provided anchoring. It worked, I was massively frustrated with the process each and every time, and I now have notches in the blades (not happy about THAT 😒). & The cut on all of what I "crafted" is not great, to be honest.I subsequently researched products online to cut these chains in widths 4-6mm. What I discovered: There is a product which exists and for the cleanest and most precise cuts, it is a ball-chain-splicing tool AND it is very, very expensive, by and large. If you are purchasing these ball chains to make jewelry, it would be an investment.I like the ball chain.Cutting the chain is a pain in the you-know-where.The more you know. 🌠

Just what I was looking for. Painters somehow broke my grease fan chain and I needed to find the chain and coupler to attach to it. Saved me from having to buy a vent hood the inspection report wanted for the contract on the house to be signed.

I bought this to use for threading wiring through my harley handlebars! Perfect! 👍🏻👍🏻

The chain itself is decent enough quality, and while difficult to cut (like some previous reviewers said) was able to with no real problems just a small wire cutters but it did nick up the blade a bit. But I was about 7 inches short of the 20ft I ordered. Not a huge deal but In my mind at least enough to knock it down a star when you advertise 20ft.

Nice to have to repair anything.
