Cute but that’s it!
My daughter was very excited by this range! She loves animals and want to be a vet. As her back to school present she chose this set (the larger sets were a bit too expensive) it’s just a doll and a cat. There is no injury, bandage etc and the accessories that should for I to the backpack didn’t. A disappointing present!

Could do with more accessories for the price
My daughters are already starting to have a lot of imagination when it comes to playing, and that has led us to choose toys with which to develop a role and imagine many storiesWith Emily and Brooke the Dog we play to be veterinarians and every day we can imagine that we cure many animals. The only drawback I see are the small parts, which when not coming a box inside the set.. They're easy to lose. The doll itself is great, not excessively large but all its limbs are articulated, and also has accessories. It is very well characterized as veterinary and since we have many kinds of animals, we saw in these dolls a way to make our daughters understand that animals also have their doctors and can be cured.Being a collection I think it would be more fun to have all the components of it, to create more adventures, because it alone is good, but it doesn't give much game either.

Not much here
This is a toy that relies on accompanying playsets for this to be a worthwhile purchase. If you already have toys from the Vet Squad collection, or similar playthings that work along the same theme, then this will work. On its own, however, I think it is overpriced and over-plasticked packaging. In this set you receive the character of Yara and a small white rabbit called Luna. The character is fully moveable and has a clip on backpack. There are a couple of very small accessories clipped to the backpack. As they are so small, I would recommend this for at least 4 years and upwards, depending on how your child is with small playthings.Whilst it does feel sturdy and well-made, and whilst it is brightly coloured, I do think this is a steep price to pay. It does redeem itself with the charitable donation to the SeaLife Trust, but I want to see these sets with more accessories to justify the toy. It’s reassuring to see toys on the market that are about different jobs, rather than appearance and Barbie-themed, but I think there is scope to improve this further. In addition, I wish companies would stop using this plastic “shell” packaging. It cannot be recycled easily and cannot be used for storing the toy after ripping it open. A bit more future-proofing, for both toy storage and the planet, would be preferable.

Lovely little toy!
The media could not be loaded. My daughter loves playing with this little vet figure. She uses it alongside her other toys as this consists of a figure, a small rabbit, a backpack with a couple of extra bits that the vet can hold, or they will attach to the backpack. Ideally you would want to get more parts to the set, so a vehicle or some of the other characters too, but for the cost I would say this is about the right price. It is well packaged in plastic with a cardboard backing, so fairly recyclable. The figure’s arms and legs move which gives a little more fun for playing with, but it’s quite difficult to stand her up on her feet. Unless balanced perfectly well she will just fall over. As an adult struggling to do that, I’m fairly sure a child wouldn’t manage to stand it up.It is quite robust and made well. It doesn’t feel too cheap, there are no signs of terrible quality here so I’m happy. Her hair and boots have a lot of detail, and the little vet sign print on her top is a lovely addition. Like I said, for the cost this is a good buy but ideally you need some more of the Vet Squad sets for it to go with. 5/5.

Great as an Addition to Your Existing Vet Squad Set. But Not, if This is Your First Set
Cute Yara and luna the rabbit token gift set. It's a small little stocking-filler-type-set. Our daughter is a fan of Vet Squad and has the larger expedition set, which includes the jeep and giraffe, it's currently not too much more than this set in price, but with that, you get a whole boot full of kit, stickers and a usable 4x4.This is a lovely little addition if your little one is a collector of Vet Squad dolls and wants to build on the whole team of vets and obtain another animal to care for.Yara comes with her own little 'show' backpack which holds two accessories. A pink carrot for Luna (and before you raise an eyebrow, know that you can grow pink carrots!). The other accessory is an Erlenmeyer flask - pre-fixed with a stopper. A tad bit unusual for Luna to have a flask secured to the exterior of her backpack, whilst, presumably, she is out on a backpack-requiring expedition and in the company of a bunny rabbit. But there we are.If anything it's an opportunity to teach my daughter about Erlenmeyer flasks and their use in laboratory work. This set is great as an added addition to your existing V.S. set. But could prove a little underwhelming if this is your little one's first foray into the world of Vet Squad.4 stars
