It works just fine
It is a well constructed key that performs as advertised

So say water was at a Premium. You may need to get to a water source that has one of these nifty locks on it. Problem solved.Can also be used to ward off demons and if you want to become a Ninja, it can ALSO be used as a throwing star. (PS Dont practice on your wife, she will get mad)

Bought 4, for around the property, and for edc
Every had the spigot handle break? I have. Good to have 'just in case'. I carry one in my edc and gave several to loved ones, who looked at me funny. All good.

I originally ordered the Duratech sillcock key set. I was sent two identical tools instead of one of each type of tool, so I returned the Duratech set and ordered this set.This set appears to be adequate for my needs. I bought this set of tools to toss into the bottom of my tool box just in case of emergency. I do not anticipate ever needing to use these tools, but if I need to, I think they would work.I am not a professional utility worker. If you are, you should probably spend more money on these tools. The chrome plated tool included here does not appear to be of high quality. The chrome plating is thin and a little bumpy in places. If you look into some of the recesses of the tool you can see where it appears that the chrome plating did not cover the entire surface. If I planned to use this tool regularly, I would expect the chrome plating to start flaking off.The other tool included here consists of two separate pieces, held together with knurling and a press fit; they are not welded together. If you encountered a stubborn fitting and needed to apply a great deal of force to the tool, you might expect the tool to fail.If you are a devoted prepper and it is absolutely not an option for you to have a tool that might fail, then you should probably spend more money on these types of tools. Again, the reason I purchased this inexpensive tool set was to provide myself some peace of mind that I would have a tool that might help in an emergency. This tool set is adequate for that purpose.
