Julien's Breakfast Blend Ground

I am not a coffee snob. If they can get into a cup, I can usually get it out. Knowing that...I am a cost driven consumer. I shop at my local grocery, and try what they have under $6-$8/12oz. I have never been able to justify the really expensive stuff because...well, just cheap I guess. With that being said, I purchased my first 2lb of Verena dark roast, and it was quite good. So I got another 2lb. Drank that, then decided I wanted to try the medium roast...it was good too. When I say good, I mean it comes out of my coffee maker (a Ninja brand maker) pretty delicious. I drink my coffee black, or sometimes put some heavy cream in it and agitate. This coffee is very good. The coffee is not bitter. Has a very nice, bold taste, and good aroma. At this price point, it is a very good coffee and I like to drink it. I read other reviews about oily-ness of beans and other things that I should probably worry about when I retire, but until then I am going to get a few more bags of this coffee. And drink it.

I ran into this coffee while visiting the Midwest. It’s nutty flavor is superior to most coffee I have recently purchased. Full flavored but less acid it is my everyday drink. Not to mention the price is definitely competitive. To be honest I usually order directly from the roaster but was in a pinch and ordered from Amazon. So happy that they are carrying this awesome brand for future.

Love Verena Street coffee.

I like this coffee but I'm not in love with it. It is nice and smooth and is not bitter. I love my morning coffee and like to experiment with a lot of brands. I love the smell of coffee and like it to entice me to have just one more cup! This coffee is not very aromatic so I give it a four stars rather than five.

I purchased decaf for my wife. I made a pot of coffee for her, my wife said that was the best cup of coffee I have ever made for her, so I had a cup she was right. Coffee had great flavor with no sign of bitterness. So I bought some regular grind for me. Wow I'm a beleiver on how the type of bean and how it is processed makes such a difference. Plus this was good with a K-cup machine, I'm sure a regular brew will be even better.

Pretty much everyone knows Verona Street's high quality, but quick delibery is just plain amazing.

Much stronger coffee than I was expecting.

For the longest time we used an expensive coffee house product that worked well with our local water. When the Verena Street Breakfast Blend coffee arrived we were pleasantly surprised by its wonderful aroma. Brewed the same strength as our former product, it holds up nicely in color, better in aroma, and even better in flavor. There is no unpleasant bitterness or acidity, just pure enjoyment. From now on, this is "our" coffee. I already subscribed to it on AMAZON to get an additional 15% off. Can't beat the price for the value!
