This is a great product! It came in when it was suppose to and its very sharp. For the price, it's a very nice carving knife. I'll be buying more for sure! Thank you Hutsuls Team! You guys are awesome!

Not the highest quality, but very affordable.
Pretty good knife for the money. It arrived sharp and it cuts well. The blade isn't centered in the handle, but it's still fully functional. Could've used a little more sanding on the handle as well. It's a decent knife, but I'll probably make a new handle for it.

Not just for beginners.
I have every knife Hutsuls makes. This is just a bit smaller and shorter than their regular sloyd. Cuts just as well, easier to use in tight spaces, sharpens nicely, and it’s only ten bucks! People are begging for my carvings and i only use Hutsuls tools for the majority of my works.

I purchased this knife as my first tool in my new woodcarving hobby. I have to say you get a nice knife for very little. Especially if you're a beginner with a limited budget. The box it comes in is very handsome, you feel like you are getting a much more expensive knife. The handle is very comfortable to hold and place pressure against, and has gotten a darker patina from the oils of my hand. The only down to this knife was there was some play on the blade right out of the box. It would click and move ever so slightly. I chalked this up to error in mass production, and I fixed it quickly with some wood putty. Now it's better than new. This is a great starting knife. I turn to this knife now for small details.

Remains sharp.
This knife is great, it arrived sharp and after repeated use, has remained sharp. The only criticism I could make was that the handle is a little narrow for my big old hands.
