Outstanding mids for rear doors
So my JBL system in my RAV4 makes the rear door speakers seem like they are missing. I swapped them out to this mid and put a 4” bass blocker on them. This killed the bass so they can sing. Excellent sound mix now in the car now with a sub in the trunk off an LC2I Pro.

They are loud and clear
UPDATE: I finished my speaker box buil. These speakers are so loud for the price, and they have a great frequency response. Now, Im planning on Building a 16 speaker setup with these ... I'm making an oldschool boombox and these speakers are perfect. I paired them with the 60w class D amplifier boards. I have no complaints

Timpano/PRV
The Timpano name fooled me. I've listened to the PRV speakers before and very nice. A little harsh so use a good passive cover. And if you like your mids loud these are an inexpensive way to go.

Dont spend your money
I purchased a set of 4 speakers and finally got around to install them. Well the time for return expired already. Today on my day off I when to install the 1st rear door speaker and while i was pushing the ground and pos. Terminal the support for the connections came apart (poor rivet holding it) well I try glue and it didnt work 1st drive I hear the back speaker sounding bad. So took the one I knew had the problem and sure enough it was dangling and making contact with ground. Now I either buy a new one of the same brand or throw this ones away and go with a different brand.

Impossible to tune
I bought these a week ago. The speakers are not tall what I thought they would be. Impossible to tune. I have them ran on a kenwood 900watt amp. The speakers are cracking under moderate power. I hook up my cheap boss crap and they don’t sound as good as these but they don’t distort. Wish I could get my money back. Not happy

I bought these to replace the factory mid bass speakers in my Acura's ELS premium sound system. Unfortunately it didn't work out, the factory speakers are 2ohm so putting the 4ohm Timpano's in drastically reduced the wattage from the factory amplifier making the speakers sound worse than stock. All is not lost though, I used the Timpano's as woofers in a set of homemade bookshelf speakers, .25cft mdf enclosure tuned to 70hz with an Harmon kardon 8ohm tweeter crossed over a 6000hz using a 3.3mfd capacitor, sounds amazing now. Would be nice to see more replacement options for the increasingly more common factory 2ohm speakers, hopefully Timpano makes a dvc or 2ohm version of their mids in the future.
