Smooth surfaces so theres less chance of getting splintersNice staining and seems pretty sturdy for a 2 yrs old to play with.

Meh.
These are cute but very cheap materials were used in their manufacturing. The paint has scraped off the edges. We very rarely let our kids use these without our supervision. One of our toddlers loves to use these for stacking. We only let her use them when we are around because we don't want her to start chewing them because of the paint chipping off.Very cheap. I'd have returned these if the problems occurred within the time fame of returns.

Almost perfect
Granddaughter loves these blocks. Only issue is that the wood chipped on two areas. Covered with cute stickers, so child wouldn't get a scratch or sliver from chipped area.

Exactly what I wanted
My 2&1/2 year old grand daughter could play with these things all day. She stacks them, knocks them over, nests them, un-nests them and starts all over again. We found we could lay them on the floor partially nested with each other in a horizontal stack and they become a little downhill track for a small car or cylindrical bead, which she was obsessed with. I was a little concerned with how sturdy these would be made from lighter weight wood, but they seem very well made and really easy to handle for the littles. Great coloring, no rough edges. I would highly recommend.

Excellent Learning Toy for Reasonable Price
I bought this toy as an alternative to the much more expensive Montessori Pink Tower and was really impressed with how high quality this toy and the way my child interacts with it. From trying to use the blocks as stepping stones (which I admit is probably unsafe) to learning about stacking them in order or placing objects inside each other, my child will spend a significant chunk of time playing with this toy. It was definitely worth the money!

Use with caution!
Unfortunately had to return because the corners were too sharp we were afraid he’d hurt himself. Other than that great quality and very durable. Our 16 month old dropped on his foot a few times and it cut him so I would recommend for older toddlers ! Will repurchase when he’s older though. Also super easy to store and great colors
