Worked really well
I was in search of elastic shoe laces for my five year old who refuses to keep her shoe laces tied. Even after countless days working with her to tie them. She's pretty stubborn so after researching on purchasing a pre-made pair on Amazon I thought it was crazy to buy them when it was clearly obvious just by looking at the picture of them that I could make them. I received my items today (after much research for the name of each material), which these were one of them and it worked out perfectly! I'm very pleased! I now want to do this to everyone's shoes.

the perfect solution for drawstrings that require tying
These work perfectly on the drawstrings to the sweatpants and running shorts that I have that lack these. I lost a bunch of weight and now all these clothes are too loose. Tying a knot in the drawstring is a hassle, especially if the knot gets screwed up, the loop comes out of it and you have pick it apart to undo it. Yeah...I know...I'm kind of lame when comes to knots. But these cord locks are the perfect solution. Then I tie a knot on the distal end of the drawstring so the cord lock never slips off and voila, problem solved. I just wish the packet came in assorted colors so that I could better match the varieties of clothing I use them with. Highly recommended, at a great price.

Great deal on cord locks for average load projects
A bit scary to see all those bad reviews saying they were defective. Another review did say that they come pre-compressed and you need to push them all the way down to release the spring. Mine all came perfectly fine, so it sucks to be all of you guys that got weird ones, but try that before you return them. They work well, for what they are. I use 1/8 shock cord with them and they've held up fine. I used them on 3 hammock underquilts and replaced broken cord locks on my gear. They absolutely will not hold if you put serious pressure on them. These are not the types for heavy duty work. But, if like me, you are basically just using them to pull things tight like drawstring bags and cloth, they will work great. I also liked that the lime green ones matched my Paracord Planet shock cord perfectly. I certainly don't go out of my way for aesthetics in my gear, but when it works out it really makes it look like a professional finished product.

Better made, neater looking than most, and just the right size for two 325 paracords to fit easily through opening.
Best of this type that I could find. If you look at others that are similar, when the button is not depressed, you can see the spring inside the lock. This one covers the inner workings. It's just the right size. I use for making stirrup covers. I have ordered from almost every vendor and either they are too large or too small for my application. These are perfect because they are easy to operate and I can easily slide two 325 paracords in the eliptical opening without any struggle.

LOVE THEM!!!
Due to a disability, I felt these cord locks would come in handy frequently; so, I purchased 2 packs of 10 so I'd have them handy when needed!!! When I first used them, I was disappointed because I couldn't figure out how to get them to work properly. I did my research by reading reviews of the unhappy buyers & discovered 2 lovely people that gave good instructions on how they work. Once I learned that I needed to thread the cord through the hole & then firmly press the top to actually activate the spring, I had a fully functional lock. I threaded the ends of my drawstrings through the hole, pressed the top firmly against my counter top & I heard a pop. Voila, I had a lock that worked perfectly. Since mine are mainly being used to hold up my skirts, I can assure you that they work!!! I've read a few reviews about cords that slipped; but, I have NOT had that problem. I am somewhat thick through the middle & these locks have held perfectly tight & with the spring loaded mechanism, I can tighten one handed which solved my problem. After reading all the 1-star reviews saying they received defective locks, I was surprised to find something so cheap that works so well!!! They come with the spring compressed & the spring activates when you tell it to!!! This has been one of my BEST purchases from Amazon & I promise you that I have made more than one purchase here!!!

WEAKNESS!
I got the Hunter Green ones FYI, it's a VERY dark green, and under somewhat mediocre lighting I thought they were actually black, so just a heads-up there. The main issue is that these are WEAK. I have a variety of various cord locks, and this is a relative comparison, so I KNOW what a cord lock should deliver. I keep my cord locks stored on some 550 paracord and these slipped on them like they were on grease compared to the rest. And not just one of them, but ALL. Yes, they do have some retention for really light duty, but I'm not sure what application I'll assign them. Maybe hood-cinch cords, since they'd grip the rough cotton cord better, and if they slip a bit, it's not a catastrophe. On the plus side for some, the anemic springs are very easy to push down. So, if you've got some mild applications to be used on cord that isn't relatively slick, 550 nylon paracord, AND, it's for kids or anyone without the greatest finger strength, these will work. All that said above, since I have man-hands and can crack walnuts and lobster claws alike (ok, probably not) I have no use for these "dainty" cord locks ;)

Good product, need the ID, though!
The product is as advertised. My only issues with it is the description lacked the detail I needed. The Amazon listing had overall exterior size and how many of what size cords would fit. For my application, I needed to know the inside diameter of the hole. Most other similar products provide this information. Other than that, it's a 5-star
