Purchased this to add to existing 2way switch set up in my garage on some LED strip lights. It works perfectly and was simple to fit and to set up via the app. It does require a neutral to the switch, so it required replacement of the switch wire with 3core and earth. It is a deeper switch (29mm depth), so I replaced the existing back box with a 47mm one, you might need a 10mm spacer to fit this depending on depth. It’s now connected to sensors on my garage doors to turn on whenever someone opens a door and can be activated by Siri or Google voice control.Aside from all of this the main reason I like this switch is that it allows for a dual set up in Google Home and Apple HomeKit, which means you can use Google for voice control but HomeKit for automations (which it’s better at than Alexa or Google).

Delighted at last to find a smart switch with proper screws at the back that I wasn’t frightened to tighten properly. Easy to configure (at outset it has its own WiFi network that you connect your phone to). Available in a two way. No batteries, just a neutral. And it directly replaces the existing switch in a multi-way circuit (no need to reconfigure everything to low voltage on the control circuit). Getting the front cover off just takes a little confidence - do that first when you get it out the box, and practice it once or twice. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

This is set up in my kitchen with Meross led strip. I can turn it on or off with the home app or touch it. Works great both ways. Good sensitivity while touch it. Good price too.

The product looks nice with a large button for ease of use for persons with disabilities, thought the green light to show that it’s switched on is not very bright. I like that it is compatible with Apple HomeKit and SmartThings app. The switch is very responsive both physically and via the app which is easy to setup. I like the versatility of it still being able to be used as a physical switch as well as controlling it from your smart phone.

Easy to install and add to Alexa routines

These switches are useless as smart switches!! Once you put the front cover back on, the front is in direct contact with the touch sensitive pad inside, which after 5seconds will make them reset themselves!! Completely stupid!!!!!!!

Installed to provide timed control of a hot water pre circulator. The original mechanical switch was difficult to program, with Alexa integration this was simplicity to set up, with much finer control, including sunrise/sunset offset on/off

This is not the only thing I bought from Meross to test their HomeKit integration and they all work perfectly. The light switch was easy to install, connected to HomeKit pretty fast as opposed to the Meross app that took some time to recognise and connect with the switch.
