Great detail and well made!
It's safe to say there are very few replicas on the market of the Saturn 1B, but a plethora of Saturn Vs. Though the Saturn 1B never took astronauts to the moon, it did play a very vital role in our race to get there. Able to lift a half fueled command and service module into LEO and built using tanks from the redstone and jupitor rockets, its still impressive today that NASA achieved such a reliable vehicle! This replica represents it well, it's packed full of good details and is painted well. Though not every detail is present, such as the four antennas mounted on the redstone tanks, it still is a very accurate model and for the price you can't loose. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a model of the Saturn 1B, but don't want to build the airfix model kit. A+++++!

Good model, but perhaps inaccurate
This is a very nice model with reasonable detail. I purchased this Saturn IB because it is the only pre-built, ready for display model of this rocket I could find. It is heavy and made out of metal. My only misgiving concerns the three fin-like projections on the S IV B that apparently represent the ullage motor covers. I have not found any photographs or diagrams of the Saturn IB that feature ullage motor covers of this size and shape. I appears to be a glaring inaccuracy in this model. For this reason I give three stars. If there is someone who knows why these were included in this model in this configuration, I would like to know.

Saturn 1B Rocket 1/144 Scale
Excellent details on the Rocket, I worked on the development of this Rocket and the later Saturn V Moon Rocket. I just wish I could have found a 1:200 Scale Model to fit with my other collections.
