I purchased this adapter to go with my new modem/router. It replaces an old D-Link DWA-140 the outer case of which had turned to sticky rubber. It was very easy to install the software and the Edup WiFi adapter was recognised straight away when plugged in. I noticed an improvement in range and performance as the new adapter was able to take advantage over the improved performance of the new TalkTalk modem/router. Very pleased.

I had no idea my pc had no disc drive/tray and thought I was unable to install the drivers, however in the nicly packaged product box there is some simple yet very helpful set up instructions with all the information needed to complete set up.

My computer doesn't have access to an ethernet cable... This is very stable and works like a charm

I like how easy it was to install, the speeds were also good but they could be improved. I am using it for gaming and i normally get about 23-30 mpbs download speed and 8-10 upload speed. It is also decently priced and much easier than wired internet connection. But if you dont have the best router connection, this may not be a good option.

Edited the review back to what I said before as I found another fault that was causing it to drop out that's unrelated to this dongly thingy. Now that fault has been fixed I'm getting around 380mbps with absolutely no loss of signal. This is whilst my PC is as far away from the router as you can get in my house unless I suddenly feel like moving my office into the bathroom so yeah it's still great after a fairly long time of having it so I'd recommend.

I'm sure this dongle works great, if I knew how to install the linux driver, but as there are no instructions, I have been unable to do that, so basically a waste of money.

Very Good Item does exactly what it says on the tin. Nicely packed in a smart box. Easy to install using supplied flash drive with installed drivers.

It works..... but I was would have liked a USB stick for the driver!I had been provided with a mini CD disc which is fine if I owned a CD rom drive but I only have a front loader which does not accept smaller CD's.It took a while to get the driver to put onto my own usb stick and I only found it via the picture of the unit other wise I would suffer more finding the right driver.Seller might want to warn buyers they might recieve a mini CD instead of a USB stick and make it clearer on the model code they will need as EDUPLOVE does not translate to anything usable!Apart from driver issues it does work well on 5Ghz!
