Perfect Color Match!!
I had won a pair of director's chairs from an online estate sale. They were a beautiful teal green color. I imagined it would be really easy to find replacement canvas kits. What I didn't realize was that they are the extra-wide version with a flat dowel. Thank goodness I found this item here, so many patterns from which to choose and look how perfectly they match the painted wood!! I am very happy with the quality of the canvas and feel like it will last a long time, perhaps the life of the chair!! Definitely worth the price for perfection.

Great replacement cover
I have owned the same Gold Medal director chairs for 40 years. The replacement covers (flat stick) work great and last a long time. You just have to remember to order flat stick type.

It fits
Struggle to get them on, but they stretch and fit. It has been a several months and they are still holding up.

I'm satisfied.
The edges weren't finished, the canvas is thinner, and the back support are a bit smaller than my original ones. But I'm satisfied with them. I recommend them.

Finally Found Canvas Replacements that Fit
I was nervous about ordering these canvas replacements for my vintage director's chairs. Returns aren't simple and, at $40 (incl the shipping) a chair, this product isn't cheap so I only ordered one just in case it didn't fit. I've had a hard time finding the exact size I need.I don't know what brand of directors chair I have as there's no name anyone one them. I got them from a thrift store in the late 80s. Back then I just went to Pier One Imports and bought replacement canvas. The old canvas replacement has lasted since 1987. They very well could be chairs from Pier One, but who knows? Two years ago the canvas seat on one of them riped in half and my guest fell through. Since then they've been sitting unloved in the attic. I tried finding replacement canvas that matched measurements I needed but at the time I couldn't find the flat stick model anywhere. My chairs have the flat stick and not the round.I tried selling these chairs at a yard sale this weekend. No buyers. I tried giving them away at the end of the sale and sadly, they were still sitting in the driveway after all the other giveaways were taken. I couldn't bring myself to throw them in the trash just yet so I decided to try one more time to find replacement canvas for these things. I am glad I did.I found the listing on Everywhere Chair. I carefully measured my old canvas several times. The measurements were off but only by a fraction of an inch. Then I saw the note that said stretching will occur and they'll be tight initially. I took a risk and ordered one.It fit perfectly. What's more, the quality is similar to my old canvas and this item is "Handmade" in the USA. Pretty cool.Thank you Everywhere Chair.

Don't throw out the old sticks!
Purchased to re-furbish my ancient PierOne chair covers. Fabric and stitching and color are all high quality. That said, hold on to your OLD sticks.Several reviews describe replacement sticks that are weaker than the old ones. Two things: my old sticks are hardwood oak. The replacement sticks are softwood pine. Aside from that, it was extremely difficult to fit the new ones into the seat. Comparing the two sets, I found that they were the same width but the thicknesses are very different.Old: a little over 1/8" thick.New: about 1/4", about twice the thickness of the original. This may be an attempt to strengthen a weaker wood, but it's not enough. Oak has 3x the tensile strength of pine and the size change simply did not work in my chair .The old oak sticks are now in the new chaircovers. The shiny new pine sticks are on their way to the garden as plant markers.
