SCU-17 SCU17 Original Yaesu USB Interface for Yaesu Radios

Worked as advertised with my FTdx1200. Had to play with the receive and transmit controls on the interface, but once set properly, was a plug and play with the needed wiring included with the purchase.

This interface to the radio, I use a yaesu FT-950, made it possible to do the digital modes easily. It worked where others failed. It was easy to set up and use. Yes, it costs more than the other passive interfaces that I've used, but, it works. Love it.

This is a necessary tool for digital modes with Yaesu 1200 transceivers. Gigaparts delivered a good product very quickly.

So this works on my Yaesu FTDX1200, but is very temperamental. I expected more from Yaesu. Knowing what I know now, I may have gone a different direction to get on to digital modes. I am not sure I would buy this again.

First time using digital modes. Load the drivers from Yaesu. Do not plug in u til drivers are properly working. Works great.

This external sound card by Yaesu is built like a tank. The sleek housing is made from Aluminum. Had no problems connecting from the FT-2000 to my computer. The associated cabling allows me to work digital modes on the amateur bands

No drivers for Mac.

I have two of these items one works the ftdx1200 the other ft818.An excellent service and interface.

Das Gerät funktioniert recht gut und ist auch angenehm klein. Im Zusammenhang mit einem Yaesu Transceiver ist es eigentlich ideal. Einziges kleines Manko: Es wird über die USB Verbindung mit 5 Volt Spannung versorgt, die immer dann anliegt, wenn der PC eingeschaltet ist. Manchmal möchte man das aber nicht und ein entsprechender Ein/Aus Schalter am Gerät wäre nicht schlecht, so wie es das SignaLink USB-Interface auch hat.Auch ich habe festgestellt, daß die von Yaesu herunterladbaren USB Treiber unter Windows 10 nicht richtig funktionieren. Ich habe dann einfach die entsprechenden Treiber vom Hersteller des Interface Baustein des genommen, so wie ich das auch schin im Falle meines ICOM 7610 XCVRs machen musste. die USB haben funktioniert. Scheinbar hat YAESU auf seinen Seiten diese Treiber noch nicht aktualisiert, das ist aber ein kleines Problem was man gut lösen kann

FT8をFT450Dで運用したくて購入、問題なくPCと接続できました。入力レベルを簡単に調整できるのがいいですね。
