Wisconsin Cheese Blocks - 6 Pack Assorted (New Flavors)

My reservation about ordering was that it might not slice into nice pieces but rather be sticky/gooey. NOT a problem! I chilled it first, which may have made a difference... Great slices and flavors. Will buy again.

What do you do when you are on government mandated lock-down due to the COVID-19 pandemic? Me? Apparently, I stress-buy shelf stable cheeses online. These are the cheeses I purchased: --Wisconsin Cheese Company (6-4oz.) 100% Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Packages $29.99 ($1.25/oz) --White Cheddar 1oz Single Serve Cheese Snack, High Protein and Calcium, 48 count $27.49 ($0.57/oz) --Wisconsin Cheese Variety Blocks 42oz (6 assorted cheese blocks 7oz each) $25.59 ($0.61/oz) --Wisconsin Vintage Cheddar 1oz Single Serve Cheese Snack, High Protein and Calcium, 48 count $27.49 ($0.57/oz) This cheese (6 assorted 7 oz) has so many flavors to choose from: tomato basil, onion and garlic, cheddar and salami, chipotle pepper, hot pepper, and harvest vegetable. I'm not a fan of spicy hot foods, so I'm not sure what I will do with the two spicy ones (chipotle and hot pepper). I am thinking about adding these to pasta. If I mix the spicy ones with one of the plain cheddars, that might be something I can handle. This set of cheese will give the quarantine gourmet plenty of inspiration.

I like to use different flavors of cheese on crackers and even my sandwiches. This assortment has different flavors. It's not gourmet but pretty good and I've bought it more than once.

Some of the flavors taste a little fake, or maybe just over flavored. I can hardly taste the cheese. The blocks are also a bit smaller than they look like in the picture.

i would recommend just wish prices would come down some could buy more often then..

I am sorry, but this cheese is nasty and I am a cheese lover. The flavor is bleh and it taste like plastic. If you can imagine what plastic would taste like. This is the cheese for those who lack taste buds. If you have an palette for cheese this isn't the cheese for you. Wanted to add: made a tuna melt with this cheese and it didn't melt. Just browned on the edges. It'll take some serious heat to melt this cheese. Waste of my money.
