Yes it will but the pressure is more evenly spread just like you are in real rain shower. Best showerhead I have ever owned that is not built in.

Will this fit in a standard shower head holder

Yes please know it would definitely fit cause the shower head should be connected to the existing shower tube/shower hose/shower pipe first, so they will fit as long as your existing shower tube/shower hose/shower pipe fit in the standard shower head holder.

Hello, 6 inch is 350g and 8 inch is 550g, stainless steel shower heads are heavier than those plastic showers, hope this helps !

Can you please recommend sliding holder ?

Absolutely, if you go on to Amazon and search for "shower holder" when I did it the second result was "Joyoldelf 19-25MM Adjustable..." this one is perfect for holding the shower head and works with a range of fixture sizes. You need a holder that screws down so it's firmly held, because the shower head is quite top heavy, and quite long so it has a lot of torque. Remember you should try it first with the shower holder you already have, because it might be fine!
