Q: Are these scissors good for pomeranians?

I would say yes. I have 8 shihtzu. The scissors are sharp! I used them to trim around their eyes and paws. I loved the rounded ends!

Q: Are these useful for cutting hair out of poodle's ears?

As a professional pet groomer and shop owner, you shouldn't cut the hair out from the ears. You can purchase a powder that we use to pull the hair from the ears, you pull a few at at time not all at once. If your unable or just rather not do this I would suggest calling your local pet groomer and ask if they would do it for you. It should be a minamal charge I charge $5 - $10 depending on how bad and if they are infected or not. I hope this helps.

Q: What are the actual blade sizes? 6 and 6.5 inches - is that the blade or from base of handles to tip?

The 6 andd 6.5 inches are the total length including blade and handle. I've used these twice already, and they work well. I have a Maltese with very thin hair.

Alcohol then shear oil-camellia oil once clean.
