Really well made, genuinely good for all levels!
The swivel raindrops were perfect for my little cat, that doesn’t keep trying if she finds something too difficult. They move maybe a little too freely, but it meant she didn’t get frustrated and would keep trying. I was most concerned that she wouldn’t even try, but after moving the first raindrop, she tried out others and even had a go at the pegs!!The raindrops were far too easy for the boisterous boy who would just mash his face into them. The moving pegs were a little more challenging but he still picked those up quite quickly. The wheel however, has still proven difficult and he hasn’t worked out yet what he’s doing to get the treats under there but he’s getting close! There have been ways to configure the rain drops and the cups to make the board more difficult to move which has been appreciated.I’ll definitely be getting the other design to put into rotation, but I don’t think the cats will be losing interest in this one anytime soon. It’s very well made and really well suited to all three of our different level cats.Picture of the board - picture of my partner showing the cats how to use it - pictures of the boy eating various treats

It’s fun for her, for the puzzle itself.
Gloria Gaynor loves the puzzle. She has done it a fair few times and what we found out is that she’s not doing it for the treats, she just enjoys the game. She is getting the treats out, but she leaves them for her brother. This is quite fun to watch and she has been loving it.Her brother has had a go, but he will just do a couple of leaves and sliders on his side to get the treat and then wait for her to hand him more. He is capable, but lazy and he’s only doing it for the treats.

A great way to give treats
As a proud cat owner, I'm always on the lookout for toys that not only entertain but also engage my feline companion's natural instincts. The challenge of extracting treats from the tumbler provides endless entertainment and engagement.Treat Dispensing (5/5):The treat tumbler features a unique design with multiple compartments that hold treats or kibble. As my cat bats and swats at it, the treats tumble out, rewarding her for her efforts. It's a fantastic way to keep her entertained and motivated.Durable Construction (5/5):I was pleasantly surprised by the durability of this toy. Even with my cat's enthusiastic play, it has shown no signs of wear and tear. The materials used are tough and built to withstand vigorous play sessions.Adjustable Difficulty (5/5):One of the standout features of the Petstages Hunt 'N Swat Treat Tumbler is its adjustable difficulty level. You can easily change the size of the treat openings to make it more challenging for your cat. This ensures that it remains engaging as your cat's skills improve.Promotes Exercise (5/5):For indoor cats, exercise is essential for their overall well-being. This toy encourages physical activity as my cat swats, pounces, and chases after the tumbling treats. The compartments are easily accessible, and I can wash it quickly to keep it hygienic for my cat.Safe Materials (5/5):Pet safety is a priority, and I appreciate that the materials used in this toy are non-toxic and safe for my cat to play with and chew on.In summary, the Petstages Hunt 'N Swat Treat Tumbler Treat Dispensing Cat Toy is a must-have for cat owners looking to provide mental stimulation, exercise, and entertainment for their furry friends. It works for my kittens!
The media could not be loaded. I've searched for several slow feeder and these were the best for my kittens who are only 2kg. Perfect size and it suits wet food and actually slows down meal time for about 15 mins where as the others would not make any impact. It's only a bit hard to clean so I bought another set so I can switch off.I recommend!

Possibly for a less lazy cat
This product is erywell made and I’m sure is good for a cat who wants to forage more. My cat will eat from it but she will not attempt to push it round I was hoping it would stimulate her as she isfood driven . The feeder is a brilliant idea and is easy to clean and sturdy . Definitely recommend it but notfor my lazy cat

Keeps the cats busy
Great puzzle feeder, the cats figured it out pretty quickly so it’s not challenging anymore but they still spend time playing with it and getting the treats out.

Great to stimulate indoor food motivated cats
My boys like to pretend they're dumb as a box of rocks in order to get away with causing chaos. As it turns out, when food is involved, suddenly they're mega smart and I start worrying about the world dominance they would have if they randomly grew opposable thumbs. As we live in a flat in a city, and they can't go outside, I wanted to find something to keep them occupied in a non-destructive way. This was perfect. It even comes with a slip that tells you how to introduce it to your cats to get them to understand how it works. Its sturdy, can go in the dishwasher, and they now come running when they hear me pick it up to fill it. Nice one.

Helping to relieve my poorly cat's boredom
I've only had this a couple of days but it's been a hit so far. My cat has to wear a cone for a week or 2 so I haven't been able to let him out which he hates. He's only had experience with a treat dispenser ball before, so I wasn't sure if this would be too complex for him but he's figuring it out quickly and it keeps him occupied for a bit. Being food motivated helps, which he is - my other cat doesn't have high food motivation so she doesn't try to use this, just sniffs it! There are different levels of difficulty too, so you can make it more challenging as they learn. Great buy.

This is GREAT!
This. This cat toy is way fun for my cat AND me!! She’s smarter than she appears and figured out what she had to do to get the treats pretty quickly. The puzzle is pretty; colors are bright. Sturdy and well-made. It’s become the favorite toy in my house for my kitty. She even plays with it when there are no treats hidden - maybe just looking to see if any have appeared. This is so worth the money for your cat!!

Pros and Cons, from a OOBC Orange Tabby
Pros:- This is a pretty impressive-looking but still beginner to intermediate level cat feeder. It said to increase difficulty slowly, but after two days of my cat not even having to think about it, I skipped to the hardest level and that took him about day to figure out completely. This is NOT a food-motivated cat, nor is he a particularly bright one (I know, I love him, but he's an orange tabby with very limited access to the One Orange Brain Cell they all share -- pictures posted as evidence that if he can solve these, ANY cat can. Images as proof.)- Well-made, easy to clean, dishwasher safe- Can be set up in stages to help cats learn the skills to successfully acquiring all the kibbles/treats/etc- perfectly sized for most dry cat foods and treats (ladybugs will accept and release up to Greenies Cats size treats)- no jams, nothing trapped that needed prying out- makes slowing down kibble inhalation and portion control a lot easier, as he's no longer focused on the bottom of his dish- already able to transfer skills learned with this toy/feeder to others- most importantly, and why I began this: HE IS NO LONGER BOLTING HIS FOOD AND REGURGITATING IT. Because, beyond the "ew I just stepped in semi-digested cat food" factor, it was seriously bad for his health and probably hurt.Cons:- he now refuses to be fed out of a food dish- it now takes 20+min to portion out his dry food in the mornings between three toys, two fillable mice I then hide, and a treat dispensing ball that contains a spiral to up the difficulty beyond "ball with a hole in it". Again in the evenings. My cat is now so smug as he no longer needs me, he feeds himself and is a mighty hunter, thank you very much. This is a monster of my own creation. That said, this is also a really good puzzle feeder or treat dispenser with the ability to increase or decrease the difficulty. We had a couple of secondhand dog puzzles he was enjoying, but this is much better and of all the puzzles we have it continues to be the easiest to fill and clean for the longest length of feeding time as he doesn't get more than 4-5 kibbles per ladybug. The leaf in the middle really ups the difficulty, you might want to leave that open for a long while as it can lock up several other leaves. Only once they're slapping leaves aside is it a good time to stick this wrench in the cogs 😄
