This is the absolute best outdoor fan! I have 2 hanging from my back porch rafters and gives off great airflow. They are very sturdy and have done very well outdoors. They are weather proof although I have them under a roof but they have been excellent. Some reviews say they are "loud" but its a fan with hig speed sooo yeah they are not going to be silent. The low speed gives off a ton of air and the top speed is like a wind tunnel haha I couldn't be happier for the value.

I got two. This is exactly what I was looking for. High-quality waterproof fan that I can mount to my existing Pergolux trellis with an 8M bolt. Strong breeze even on low and works flawlessly, so far. I’ll report back on durability over the summer.

These 18 inch fans are quiet for their size. They are excellent and pushing air and do not get too hot in Florida in my barn over my Horse Stalls so far so good the 18 inch ones are heavy. I also bought a 14 inch one for another stall that my cats hang out in. The 18 inch fan is 20 pounds but we hung it on a 2 x 8 after board with the screw that it came with, and it is very sturdy and it does not move when the fan is on

Just WOW! I bought two of these 2 years ago. Mounted them on my dock. They have survived a hurricane and the all the harsh weather Mother Nature has thrown at them. Still going strong! I just bought another one for my garage. This is an outstanding product and a 5th the cost of ones that are comparable.

Hefty, powerful fan for outdoor applications. I can feel it from over 20 feet away. Seemed to be the only reasonably-priced unit that I could find that was actually intended for fully outdoor use (not just on a covered porch or something, like more decorative/expensive units, i.e. “damp-rated”). I’d like oscillation, but wouldn’t find it at this price, nor would I have had as much freedom with mounting options. Pros: -Strong airflow, even at its lowest setting -Hefty construction -Weatherproof (so far…about a month) -Mounting configuration allowed for flexibility in setup that gave me several options for deployment Cons: -Strong airflow, even at its lowest setting; wouldn’t mind a lower setting -Supplied hardware was a little lacking in variety, but I was figuring I’d be supplying my own tailored for my custom application anyway -Fan speeds go from lowest-to-highest, instead of highest-to-lowest as in every other fan I have ever experienced…not really a strong “con,” but notably odd -Angle of adjustment is limited by tabs that occasionally prohibit movement to what I would consider an ideal position, but that could be down to how I have it mounted (hanging down from a pergola instead of wall-mounted) -A bit loud; if casual conversation around the unit is more important to you than staying cool, you might want to consider something different Bottom line, while there seems to be more cons than pros here, the cons have been minor, and I would recommend this for anyone looking for a fan that would be exposed to the elements, provided they don’t need oscillation as a feature and noise level is less of a concern.

I've had this fan outside mounted to the side of my porch where it is exposed to the elements for for years now and still works great, plenty of adjustable wind force, I would definitely purchase again.

These fans are about 2-3x heavier than a typical box fan, so the fan motor and power supply appears to be heavy-duty. They move plenty of air in our 14'×14' open patio area. Our patio is surrounded on two side by a 5000 gallon Black Lagoon themed Koi pond (think castle moat). So these fans are perfect for keeping the mosquitos and bugs away, and of course for cooling everyone down when the summer heat comes burning down. Ours are mounted to the deck joists above our patio, one in each corner. They will not be protected from our Kansas weather of 100° hot summers, 0° winters, snow or rain. So I do hope they can endure the exposure. I think I saw some fan weather-covers here on Amazon, if so we will probably get them just to extend the fan life. As for noise, no louder than a typical 18" fan. I installed both by myself, but I highly recommend having a second pair of hands as these are heavy like I said before. As for adjustability they can be tilted or swiveled depending upon how you install yours. Ours are placed ideally so we can easily adjust accordingly for our guest's comfort. I also plan on plugging them into a RF remote controlled all-weather plug, this is so we don't have to pull on the suspended chain to power them on/off. As most people know, fans like ceiling fans, that have a chain will eventually snap and break. So that's just me thinking ahead. For the price I'd say they are worth it as long as we can get a few years use out of them. If they fail or we develop issues I will update my review accordingly.

These are the BEST fans (I have 3 + gifted 1) Super powerful. Makes hot days comfortable & keeps the flying insects off the porch. I have two in the dog area that creates a crazy nice wind tunnel so they can spend more time outside on the hottest days. They love them too. Those 2 having been running daily through the summer for about three years now. Still going Strong!

Installed this under the deck with a tv mounting bracket to swivel easily. Build quality is awesome and it's very quiet. Level 3 will blow you away so setting 1 is adequate enough on daily use. Overall excellent fan. Just get this!

Bought the fan for outdoor use because description stated it was good in wet conditions and could be left outdoors. However, the manufacturer's instructions that come with the fan state: "WARNING: Shock Hazard. Use your fan only in dry environments."

I installed this fan on my balcony to get rid of charcoal barbecue smoke and foul odours from neighbouring units. I've used it a few times now and it's very effective, powerful enough to clear the smells right away. I have it plugged in to a remote control extension cord so I don't have to go outside to turn it on when I smell odours. It's so quiet that I have to check outside to make sure it's working. My only small criticism is that there's no stand available for it. Since I'm a renter with a concrete balcony I can't drill holes in, I had to build my own stand for it.
