I enjoyed reading this book and it's fresh insights and perspective. I love the reference to JOY.Do you know what brings great JOY?J jesus O others Y yourself. My take away,Seek Jesus first, love others and develop a healthy relationship with yourself. There are many great take aways and reminders to be still and quiet your mind.

Yvonne Marie's book is exactly what the doctor ordered. Her way of intertwining the truth of Jesus Christ into the very real issue of chronic busyness is how should I put it...like honey :-) Whether you are a stay-at-home parent or a CEO, everyone has succumbed to the cult of busyness. Our world is suffering from this illness of busyness and Yvonne Marie encourages the reader to take a hard look at what biblical rest means. She uses personal testimonies--not those prepackaged, Hallmark kind, but the real kind that make you mess up your make-up. She includes devotionals and tips/thought questions to keep the conversation going. Don't be fooled by the length; each chapter is filled with solid content. Anyone who needs and wants to draw closer to God will find this book a necessary addition to his or her library.

Great details in this book about really understanding all the things we're doing yet the issues we have around these things. It's really a great time to read this book in COVID when you feel like you're not getting anywhere, things are happening, you are doing something but mostly you feel stagnate and stuck yet the suns goes around and around and what have you really and truly accomplished. Some really great advice and so very relevant to any time but certainly to our right now!
