Wicker Basket Barrel Extra Large, Rattan, Brown, 46 x 54 x 37 cm

Wow! this basket is huge. I love it. Beautifully made, handles are well attached and strong. I use my baskets for shopping every week, one of my old ones had its handle part from the base so I order this one.Because of its size I would not fill this with lots of heavy items or I would never be able to lift it, instead, I put packets & bags of stuff in it like raisins, porridge oats, flour for baking, delicate things like salad leaves, spinach, and so forth & in this way it is not too heavy to lift, yet holds a really vast amount.I did measure the dimensions out before ordering but it still took me by surprise at how huge it was & I love it all the better for this. If not being used at the supermarket & instead going around our nearest town for bits & bobs in our wee independent shops, it just fits on top of my “Sholley Trolley” perfectly to carry an extra load. I cannot tell you how great it was when my Waitrose delivery came to the house, it simply ate up a load of stuff & had the delivery chap asking about it.I am going to order another Prestige basket, in another design, as I am so impressed by the quality. A lot of the cheaper baskets on the market now are coming from China and are not up to use for shopping, the handles part ways with the base and they snag and snap on things and are made of thin reeds and rushes, although I do use them for various knitting products.I highly recommend this companies baskets and if you want a mega basket, then this one is it. I have taken a photo with my adult size Parson Russell terrier beside it to give you gauge, but actually, it would almost take a newborn baby!

This is a really big basket perfect for holding logs by the fire, really well made and far superior to the one it replaced.

As a second purchase i am not disapointed as it often is. I am very pleased once more.
