The desciption says these are for solid network cables - will they work with stranded cable?

Your only supposed to use solid core on keystone jacks and stranded with RJ45 plastic crimps. That's how the cable is designed. Might work but not suggested for commercial applications. At home, tinker all you want.

Will this work with 26AWG cables? This is designed for 23~24AWG cables.
