You get what you pay for
I held my nose and hit "buy" on this because I needed a nice laptop stand for my mobile DJ laptop/controller. The price is more than I wanted to pay, but it does purchase you a high quality laptop stand that won't need to be replaced any time soon. It can be used in different configurations, but I mainly use it as is pictured. I do like that you can attach this stand to a microphone stand and do that when working in my studio from time to time.

Solide, il accepte mon Alienware 17" sans avoir peur qu'il bascule (problème que j'avais avec d'autres produits). Même si le support est très robuste et quand même lourd, il se transporte très bien. J'adore le petit support (celui qui est au centre) que je place vers l'arrière pour y mettre mes bases de micros sans fils. Les ajustements sont nombreux et simples. Lorsque j'y installe mon portable, j'ai une grande confiance qu'il va rester en place.C'est un produit que je suggère fortement !

The only thing that i can say is" THIS IS THE ULTIMATE STAND for DJ's " No need to worries of your laptop specially if your having out door DJ set-up 100% safe for you laptop and i like the design of the stand the only thing that i can suggest is make a new editon of this ULTIMATE STAND much more Higher specially for the DJ's coz we do have MIDI Box for our DJ softwear it would be perfect...i recommend this to all DJ's :-)....
