Flies don’t stand a chance
Little to no assembly. Simply slide a sticky pad into track and attach to the wall with the provided screws then plug it in. The cord is shorter than I would have liked but lowering it wasn’t an issue. I chose to hang mi e around the corner so it’s not visible when looking in the room. Works incredibly fast and you cannot beat the price for something f that doesn’t “zap” all the time

Didn’t even last 3 months before I had to replace bulb and ballast
Yes, this product attracts bugs. That’s what they’re supposed to, but the quality stinks. I had this for maybe two months and the lightbulb went out. I ordered new lightbulbs, but that wasn’t the problem. The ballast was also broken so now I had to order a $20 ballast with it. I had another brand before that cost me a lot more but lasted for years and years. It was not this brand and I decided to try it because it was smaller and cheaper. I’m honestly going to see how long this works but if it goes out again. I’m not gonna buy this one more time.

Attracts flies and Asian beetles
I live in an old farmhouse for nearly 40 years and last year was the first indoor fly problem we’ve ever had. We’ve had a few warmer winters recently and that has not helped keep the fly population in check. The sconce look is good and decent quality but this will not be a permanent installment. I mounted to a plate stand to use as needed with easy access to still change the glue trap. As the weather warms up, flies will start to come out and so will these. As common sense would suggest, it works best when it’s the brightest or only light source. I had one in a slightly darker room and it got a lot of action on day1. The other one was set up near a window where the bugs attract and still got some. I bought for flies but it has surprisingly attracted the Asian beetles too. I gave it a 4-star because it’s a little expensive for a light and glue trap but it has worked so far and I don’t regret the purchase.

Short light life
So got this in mid may, it is now mid july and the light just up and died yesterday...for over $40 for this, i'd expect it to last longer than this aka not have to replace light bulb till at least next spring... heck our other blue bug lights haven't died and they are all over at least 2 yrs old... Still this did work decently overall next to the litter box that our senior girl now uses and i haven't seen any sewer gnats in litter at all.. the pads are not overly sticky but, still managed to catch gnats, little flies and moths.. So i was irritable that i was going to have to pay over eleven dollars for one of their replacement bulb so soon but, after some searching i found a pack of 6 for fourteen dollars (amazon link below) that work in these/are same bulbs and shines a bit bluer.. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BPH56228?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Good product for your money
Couldn't begin to count the number of flies I have caught with these. Easy to use. Catches about anything that will fly into it. And nice and sticky.

Barely works
I purchased the fly trap to draw an unprecedented number of fruit flies in my kitchen to their death. Unfortunately, this trap did not work very efficiently. I turned every light off regularly in the hopes that the trap would work even better. While it did draw some flies, the hanging glue ribbon types worked the best. Also a handmade trap, with a slightly overripe tomato in a bowl, white flour sack towel covering the bowl, and a flat glue trap, like a mouse/insect glue board, sitting on top of the towel, worked beautifully, drawing hundreds of flies. There was a substantial difference in the number of flies each drew. After 3 weeks, I returned the Faicuk trap. Just not worth it.

So far this has been fantastic!
This is great so far! Fit nice and snug by the cabinet in our camper so I haven't attached it to the wall yet but it sits flat, isnt terribly bright (kind of makes a nice night light) and seems to be working great so far. If you see the photo of the stick pad and bugs thats after having had the light on for two nights. Only bugs we have noticed in the camper at all are a stray black house fly which this items description specifically says it isnt made for. Its taken down lots of little bugs, a few mosquitoes and some gross big flying things. Overall. I'm very happy with this purchase. I like how the electric cord can be plugged in on either side to help hide it best. Came with some replacement sticky pads but Ill have to order more as well. Easy to install and change out the pads. I would definitely reccomend this for campers/rvs, garages, mudrooms or anywhere else bugs can get in easily Much better sleeping at night without mosquitoes buzzin around your ears!!
