Hooke Road Wrangler JK Tailgate Table Camping Cargo Shelf Storage Rack Compatible with Jeep Wrangler JK 07-18 (Upgrade Extended Version)

Installed on a 2016 JKU. Install went smooth, just make sure to take your time and get a good rivnut tool. If you have any questions about installation, the company is very responsive on Amazon. Had to cut a small notch in the plastic cable cover on the tailgate, but does not look bad. I did not have the issue with backward hinges like a previous review, so the fold-out table sits flat and is very sturdy. It is held up with a couple of arms that slide out on drawer slides and a wire rope. The latches that are meant to hold the table up when not in use are useless. I just use a bungee cord to keep the table up. I only hear it rattle when I hit something rough on the road. All in all, a great product at a fraction of the cost of other solutions.

Not bad for the price. Make sure you have a rivnut tool when you install it. Overall it works well but definitely feels kinda cheap. Not sure it will hold up to very much abuse. No rattling when driving and was overall really handy to have while camping.

Easy installation, no rattle noise while driving. Sturdy , (could use some utensil holders along the edge. ).

I like the design and function. The instructions were not very detailed. It was difficult to determine where to locate the template on the tailgate to drill the mounting holes. I needed a rivetnut tool for the provided metric rivnuts. The only rivitnut tools available locally that I found were not metric. Fortunately the 1/4-20 rivnuts that came with the tool fit the holes that were drilled per the instructions using the drill bit that came supplied. One of the stay cables was badly kinked. The latches did not stay in the closed position at all to secure the shelf. I had to bend several things to finally get them to work. The rubber bumper stops were not even close to deep enough. One of the support slide rails for the extended shelf is loose and rattles. After the install I am happy with the shelf.

My husband installed this on my help the day it came in. Takes up so little room we dont even notice it. It did rattle a but so we hold it tight with a bungee and problem solved. Can't wait to go camping with it!

This was not easy to install at all. Every time we tried to line up the template for the holes there would be 1 or 2 that did not line up correctly. The instructions were not the greatest. It gave you the template but didn’t tell you where to place it so that things lined up correctly. Also the little latches don’t latch tight so they come undone and rattle a lot. We ended up putting some little bungee cords on it to hold it. I would not recommend it. I would’ve returned it but now I have holes in my tailgate so just gonna deal with it.
