Wonderful cotton closure bag for 3 hearts of romaine lettuce. It fits them all. You must wet the bag, wring it out, rinse romaine and put it in the bag. Voila perfectly fresh lettuce that lasts about a week! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Our lettuce went bad in two days

Verdict is out. I'm trying one more time with a new batch. I'll update but the first batch of lettuce wilted fast in this. I did forget to wet the bag until after the lettuce was inside and didn't want to bruise it by over handling it so I wet the bag with the lettuce inside already but before putting it away in the fridge. I buy spring mix all the time, the same brand and it usually lasts a good solid week or more in the plastic box but this was wilted in 2 days or less. I was hoping for storage that didn't take up so much space. Phooey

I like these because they keep my lettuce, baby spinach and baby kale fresh with out take up a lot of space. They stay moist to keep everything fresh but yet it breaths so things don’t rot like if you were to store them in a ziplock bag. I’m trying to get away from storing anything in plastic, so far these bags are far easier and better than any other options I’ve found!

Haven't used them yet but they're similar to how my Mother used to prepare greens from the garden and they were always fresh and crisp. She'd pick over the greens, Then wash and shake them a little before putting them in the damp bag. If the bag started getting dry she'd spritz with water. We'had fresh crisp greens all week and even longer. No slime.I also remember her shucking corn and keeping it fresh in a bag in a similar way.

These salad saver bags keep our mixed greens fresh for about a week. Storing the salad in the plastic bags it came in, the salad would get slimey after 3 or 4 days. It's a win!!

The idea is great but the fabric in this particular item is too thin to make it usable. I should have spent the extra money and purchased the Salad Sack instead. I returned this item.

Makes total sense and works as advertised. Veggies always go limp too quickly here in LA. Not sure why. This bag helps extend crispy life for at least a couple of days
