This includes CD copies of five Perry era classics. Infinity, Evolution, and Raised on Radio have the original albums as they have always been. Escape has four bonus tracks, including one studio track and three live tracks. Frontiers is a treat! My favorite Journey cut is "Only Solutions". My friends and I watched Tron at least once a week back in the 80s, and my friend who has passed away, played his cassette of the song on the Tron soundtrack every time we all got together. I remember hoping it would be on Frontiers, but when the record came out, no "Only Solutions." It was a good album, though, and had plenty of good songs. Well, this version of Frontiers does have "Only Solutions", "Only the Young" and two other tracks not on the original. So Escape and Frontiers are expanded, and all the albums are great. Definitely great for Journey fans and those who want an introduction to Journey's most successful era. Definitely five stars.

One of my favorite band

The back of the box says “the first five albums featuring Steve Perry”…this is incorrect because this collection is missing the album “Departure” which was the next album after “Evolution”…why did they leave off Departure?! So if you’re a Journey with Perry completist, you’ll have to pick up Departure separately as well as “Trial By Fire” which was the last Journey album featuring SP.

This is really amazing! I was looking for something else but then came upon this CD package with five CD's in the pack! All's I can say is that it is awesome music and then I saw them in Concert a couple weeks back and it is really amazing that they have that singer that sounds like Steve Perry! Learning that they have three original people in the band, or is it four? I cannot remember! So anyways, their music is enjoyed by generations; at least in my family! I would seriously get my hands on this package if you either remember the times that you had with 'Don't Stop Believin' (Escape album), or 'Separate Ways' (Worlds Apart) (the Frontiers Album) I had these two albums, one in high school and the other after high school....obviously there is a LOT more songs here.....and they are ALL good - what am I saying - they are ALL excellent songs! I cannot say enough - just get it - you won't be sorry! See ya!
