Does the foam ear pieces completely cover the ear or sit on the ear?

It does not cover the ear. They do indeed just sit on the ear near and around the outside. However, I have been using them since November of last year and they have never caused me any discomfort from regular use or even what I consider extreme use (8 hours perhaps). The foam is NOT the softest foam that you can imagine but enough padding is present so that you don't have any issues of the plastic touching the ear and irritating it, etc.

How do i get the headset to connect? i tried to record with zoom, but it still recorded with computer, not headset microphone. what do i need to do to

First check that your headphones are connected to the computer-Setting -Devices- In Settings click on Time and language-Click on Speech- Go to set up microphone and see if that lets you dictate to text

Will this headset work with a standard 3.5 mm headphone socket?
