GUY FAWKES MASK READY TO WEAR
Doing a cruise in September 2011 aboard the Queen Mary 2 and while in mid-Atlantic, the entertainment includes a masked dance with the men in tuxedos and women in black gowns. I shall go as Guy Fawkes while most everyone else wears only masks covering the eyes and noses. The white of Guy's face plus the smile and black brows, mustache and beard, should go well with my white/white shirt and black tux. I have also printed up calling cards with my name, Guy Fawkes, on them plus a 20 word description of Fawkes and his exploits - and my email address. I shall dance, dance, dance, and drop those little cards into the hands of my ladies while waltzing. I'm not looking for a girlfriend since I'm 82 and happily married; some new friends added to the wonderful ones I have now is my sole goal. Watch for Guy Fawkes on the dance floor for he's a devil of a man.The man behind the mask - I'm an author of 4 eBooks and one of them is about my recent travels in Pakistan's Punjab State and to the tribal area village of Mir Wala. Here I met Ms Mukhtar Mai, activist and 1st Lady of the country. I helped raise $35K for the building of her high school for girls in Mir Wala. [ ... ]Jack Morris

"together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot."
Okay so I bought this mask because well as like everyone who probably is buying this mask bought it because they saw the V for Vendetta movie. A good movie by the way (on a side note) I highly recommend people watch it at least once.So I bought this mask so I could hang it up on the wall with other mask's I like. Now even though this is more like a toy (halloween mask) it still is pretty close to the movies mask. Its made out of plastic and its also not very durable you could easily break it if you tried or scratch it if it rubbed on the ground or something but it was made in factory where they produce hundreds of these so what are you expecting. The mask arrived quickly no complaints. There might be a little scruff on it here or there but not really noticeable unless you look really closely. For educational value... have your kids watch the movie and see how real acting works. :POther then that idk what else to say. They work well for what they are. Mask replicas from the movie. Oh and for the price I paid for them it wasn't much. Even though right now im seeing its like 4-5 bucks which is a lot cheaper.

This mask got here MUCH faster than anticipated. At first, I was iffy about ordering it from an online source, but was pleasantly surprised. The mask came in perfect condition, packaged very nicely and safely within the box. The detail is very good, including ridges in the black sections of "hair", to make it look more realistic. The strap on the back is super flexible, thick, and actually sticks together using velcro, which at first I thought would be a down side... It's not! The velcro does NOT stick to my hair at all, and the mask is very easy to remove and put back on. The velcro is very strong, and doesn't come apart when putting on or taking off the mask. Keep in mind that the mask, though thick and durable, is still made out of plastic material- so please handle with care and don't store it in an area where it could crack or break. The eye holes are the perfect size, and it fits my face well. The price is actually pretty good for this mask- I've seen cheaper productions of this mask at the store for over 12 dollars before. I would definitely recommend buying this mask to anyone.

A damn good mask.
The "official" V For Vendetta, or Guy Fawkes mask was popularized by of course, the 2005 film V For Vendetta. The mask has also somewhat become the face of the hacktivist group Anonymous, who had been around since the dawn of 4chan, but only covered up their faces with whatever they could find during those days. The mask comes with a tab just above the forehead, which is a little tricky to snip picture perfectly with a pair of scissors because it has to be done, otherwise you'll just be walking around looking like a First Class Ass. Inside the forehead of the mask, you'll find a spongy-like square glued there. This is both a blessing and a curse, as I'm sure it's purpose is to help keep the mask upright so the wearer can see clearly through the eyes. However, if the mask is positioned wrong, your eyelashes with be the only things holding it up, and that will become irritating, both constantly readjusting your mask so you can see and the fact that your eyelashes will be rubbing against the plastic. The mask features an elastic-like band that (besides the spongy square) basically keeps the mask on, and without that, you're pretty much screwed. HOWEVER, what I do like is that should the band snap, tear, or rip, there are holes on each side of the face that would allow you to thread something new, such as a shoe string or so, although it will be tricky trying to get the right length cut. The craftsmanship is superb, although the lips could use a slight more color to them. Both the nostrils and the lips have holes for breathing. The concept of course is nice but I always find myself breathing the hot carbon dioxide back into the mask.Overall, I would say this is a very nice product. The only cons I have with it is the sponge square and band. I know most of you are potential Anonymous members who would like to wear this in a protest. Everyone knows that protests can last for hours, days, weeks, and even months. Just know that if it's hot where you're at, the sweat and dirt from your face will be soaked into that sponge and so therefore, I highly recommend washing it after every protest. Otherwise, you'll likely get a staph infection in your face. Also, the mask doesn't seem to stay stabilized in a good comfortable position. Any sort of head movement, if you want to use it in some sort of drama class, or headbanging, if you're playing in some BS Punk band, or even wanting to reenact scenes from V For Vendetta much like myself (hehehe), will cause the mask to move and slip off from a comfortable position and like me, you'll find yourself constantly readjusting it to your liking. The only way you'll keep that thing on right, is if you stand still like a statue.Anyway, I hope this review helped, I'm just giving you my personal experience as an owner of this mask. It definitely serves it's purpose. I hope you guys enjoy it ^_^

This vaudevillian veteran is a mouth-breather
I bought this mask 10 years ago and only just now noticed as I'm wearing it for Halloween that there are no nose holes! Horrible for mewing. As others have mentioned, the color is a bit off. Also, I had to superglue the Styrofoam back on. Very cheap mask.

Your basic plastic mask
Not too durable. Lightweight thin mask. Wears well but quality is that of a cheap Halloween mask.
