Easy peash meringues!
I normally make meringues the old way but I bought this packet to try it out. I made the meringues yesterday and was very pleased how they turned and also how many the mix actually made. It was listed as strawberry flavour but I didn’t taste any flavour. The meringues were white, light and crisp and cooked for 70 minutes on a low heat very easy to make. I have bought a second pack and will use it and probably buy another pack, but will still make my usual ones which are lightly brown with a chewy middle which my family love. The packet is a good standby when you might not have access to egg whites. Great product, many thanks for an easy transaction.

1) Preheat the oven to 100˚C (200˚F/gas mark low) and line a baking tray with baking paper. 2) Sift the contents of the packet into the bowl of an electric stand mixer. Add 115ml (4fl oz) of water, at room temperature, and stir gently to mix. 3) Using the balloon whisk attachment, whisk the mixture on high speed for 5–6 minutes until it is glossy, has increased in volume and holds a stiff peak. 4) Spoon or pipe the meringue mixture into your chosen shapes.
