Q: What is the black handle made of?

These steak knives have a POM handle. POM is a widely used plastic material that is very durable. It is both hygienic and easy to clean. We originally bought one wood handled set and one set of the black handled knives. While the knives are essentially the same, we replaced our wood handled steak knives with a second set of the black. The handles don’t weather or need oiling.

Q: The description for these knives say multi edge but the pictures show and say fine edge. Are theses fine edge or serrated or multi edge?

I had reached out to the manufacturer about this same question. L7684-5 is the fine edge and L7685-5 is the serrated which had been discontinued. You may want to reach out to them directly to see if they have any left. Hope this helps.

I accidentally ordered these. I wanted the fine edge and was annoyed I ordered the multi edge. When they arrived to my delight I received the wrong set and got the fine edge I meant to order. I think this is supposed to be for the multi edge so if you order I wouldn’t be shocked if that’s what you get.
