No Cut, No Drill
Work as advertised and looks a lot like the product photo. Mounting a Kenwood D710GA head unit was a simple operation. Installing the seat rail mount into a 2023 Subaru Forester took, maybe 10 minutes (most of that was identifying the right socket) and was relatively pain free. Best of all, this made zero changes to the original manufacture of the vehicle.Routing wires and antenna leads is another thing, but those steps really have nothing to do with the seat rail mounting kit. If you use one of these, one potential headache is avoided.And passengers are not adversely affected either, in case that’s a concern (it makes it easy for the front passenger to use the radio, too).

New radios are harder and harder to add to current real estate in or on modern dashboards. This solves that problem.

Good solution
Easy to install the post but I had to mod one of the head unit parts and provide some of my own hardware to make it work. So it’s not turnkey, but better than trying to kludge something together from my spare parts bin. Net result is a sturdy unobtrusive functional radio head mount.
