Needed a webcam for all the virtual meetings and classes I have these days, cause my laptop is on the fritz and I prefer using my desktop anyway. Got this through a lightning deal, so it was only $15. It works well, as far as I can tell. The picture quality looks good (at least on my end), and I havent had anyone say they couldn't hear me well. I like the built in mic feature, as it means I don't have to wear my bulky gaming headset during meetings.My chief complaint about this is that mounting is NOT very sturdy. It is supposed to clip over your monitor, but it basically just sits there with a very light pressure from the plate on the back. And I don't want to try and squeeze it tighter, as I have a very narrow and flat "bezel" on my screen, and then the lip of the mounting piece rests on and squeezes my screen. The poor-ish mounting is my reason for 4 stars. Otherwise for the price, I think it is definitely worth the purchase, and I hope it lasts.

Ok. You are obviously here because of the stupid high prices of the 'top brand' webcams. Who is spending 90 bucks on a webcam. Not me. I checked a bunch of 'cheapish' webcams, most have 3-6k reviews, with many saying that they are fake. Well this review is not fake.Ok look, the camera is not 1080p, I mean it technically might be, but in practical use its not a clear as day image, but does it looks bad? No. is it unusable? No. in no way is it any of thoese. It cant figure out how to deal with bright sunlight, but other than thats its just fine. For 15 bucks, unless this breaks in 2 months it is definitely worth it. Oh and the view is a bit wide. like it pretty wide. It will get your whole room in one shot. So be careful not to leave stuff laying around in the background.Its plug and play, has a tripod mount, and has a light to indicate if its on or not. So buy this, but know that is is a $15 device. Not more. Not less.

As an educator creating instructional videos, I was frustrated with the low resolution of the built in cameras that our school district computers use. I wanted to order an external camera but with the pandemic they were out of stock everywhere for a time. So I was overjoyed to see this webcam available, but didn't have high hopes as I had never heard of the name brand. Let me tell you, I WAS WRONG! THIS CAMERA IS FANTASTIC! The price is low, but for that low price the quality is surprisingly good. Its wide lens gives a good angle and lets me record presentations for my classes that are much less "claustrophobic" than a typical narrow focus lens that even my older Logitech used. As a bonus, the ability of this camera to adapt to low light shocked me! I turned off ALL of the lights in my classroom and the picture was STILL relatively clear! AMAZING! The audio quality could be improved slightly, but it's honestly not bad for the price. For under $25? DEAL! I love this camera and use it for all of my work now. I recommend you pick one up before everyone catches on and they sell out!

I bought 10 of these for $6.50 each. For that price they did exactly what I needed. If the price was $20 each I couldn't have done what I wanted. We needed cameras for the office to Zoom with students... paying out of pocket meant the cheap price was important. The tech has worked well with out any problems.

This is a good web cam for the price. It is very reasonably priced compared to some of the higher end models. However, it really took me a while to figure it out. At first I couldn't get it to work, or so I thought. The instructions were very minimal. But when I finally decided I had to return it and get a more expensive model, I instead called support and the guy talked me through how to get it to work.It seems to get a decent picture and it works with Zoom which was what I needed it for. (My laptop webcam was going black and I couldn't fix it.) The only thing is sometimes it's a little tricky getting it set up just right and having it stay in the spot you affix it to the computer. It's not really a snap-on thing. But it's okay for my purposes, and definitely a better price than most.

This webcam was effortless to install. Just plug in the USB cable to your computer and the camera will install itself. I am using the camera application that came with my Windows 10 operating system and it works perfectly. It even allows me to switch back and forth from my integrated computer camera to My HD webcam. The resolution is top notch with vivid clarity and good colors. I am very happy with this product. It is much better than my 720 pixel Logitech webcam that I replaced. I would give this a 5 star rating for features if it had a privacy cover.

Got this to use for personal/club video sessions through my Fedora Linux desktop computer. Primarily use Jit.si Meet, and the camera and microphone are stellar. The only downside is the mount/stand doesn't lend itself to perching on the top edge of the monitor; the mount does not have a 'lip' to catch the edge of the monitor. Fortunately, I have my monitors setting on a short stand above the desk and the camera can sit in front of the monitor. For price and quality of picture/audio, this product can't be beat.

The media could not be loaded.  Great HD camera... can’t beat the price and it works very well... but it’s the picture quality for me... the only con is that I wish the camera had an on and off switch because when I lose signal/ WiFi or my screen freezes I have unplug the cord and then reply it back up and that mean I have to go in back of my computer tower.. and I really don’t like havent to do that.

It worked great the first week. Now the camera goes black randomly, usually after I try to adjust the angle. I use it to teach math online to my students.

The camera took less angle than my camera on my laptop. I needed more vertical view and was desapointed. Quality of image is very good.
