drawers do not close
I received this file cabinet on 8/24 but after assembly the drawers will not close completely. I've tried finding a way to contact the seller but can't. I tried contacting Amazon customer service but they will not trouble shoot for me to see if there is an easy solution. Frustrating! I don't want to return if I don't have to, the item is pretty and good quality except for the drawers.

Sturdy Wood
Sturdy, attractive Vietnamese acacia wood (not veneer). It does need to be assembled, but the pieces are accurately cut so they fit together properly. The correct number of screws, bolts, etc. is included, and the holes line up properly. With a bit of patience, you can follow the instructions and put it together. I bought three pieces from this collection (desk, writing table, and file drawer).

Beautiful exterior, AWFUL interior and too expensive for overall quality. Confusing Instructions.
I have bought and assembled 10+ pieces of furniture from this supplier, and I would not hesitate to buy them again. Even more, I am placing today a new order for another book shelf. BUT.... I would never, ever buy this file cabinet. Although the exterior look and wood frame of the item I received are nice, the interior, bottoms and walls of the drawers ( made of a different and much cheaper looking wood composite ) are poorly designed, sized and cut. They are ugly compared with the rest of the piece. Also, the sliding mechanisms were placed wrongly and I had to relocate them to make them work. Finally, or I should say initially, the instructions are not clear.This file desk does not deliver a good ratio of quality to price. I would have returned it, If I had found the drawer issues before. A major letdown.

Piece broken on opening box
On opening box, found cabinet bottom broken. Appears to have been packed that way. Very disappointing and hopefully replacement filing cabinet is better

Love these file cabinets
Solid wood! Not particle board that is going to fall apart in a year. These are very well made, heavy duty cabinets. My husband put them together, directions well laid out and all parts very well made. He is a contractor/ carpenter and was very impressed with the quality. The color is accurate to the picture as well.
