Q: Are the frames light or dark? When looking at the pictures, the 4x6 is darker than the 8x10.

The frames are generally a lighter wood, but real wood does vary in color and different screens on digital devices don't always show the same colors. On one of my devices the smaller frames looked too dark and I posted lighter pictures of the larger frames (both are of the same materials), but on another device the larger frame's picture looked too light. The right color is probably midway, but does vary a bit. Both frames are the same color. Not as golden as golden oak, but not a dark wood. The wood is China Fir and the rattan is natural rattan. Both real and un "varnished". Both natural. I hope this helps.

Q: Does the 8x10 have glass?

The frame has plexiglass. It is lighter weight and less breakable with just as much clarity. As an artist myself, I always use plexiglass when I frame my art. (you can search my name to see my art). If the picture falls or is knocked, my art is much less likely to be scratched and ruined by broken glass.
