Get it right the first time
I have used this product commercially for years. It costs more than many competitors' products, but it is worth it. I particularly value that it remains a little flexible after "drying". This is very significant, for example, when combining dissimilar materials, like a wooden transition from wooden floor to tiles or, as in my current job, hanging wainscoting panels on a wall. The natural movement of the 1/4in maple ply with varying humidity are accommodated by the adhesive's flexibility. The panels won't pop off the wall by changes in weather/temp. In the past, I've used it with narrow crown staples to attach 1/4in MDF beadboard panels over an ugly plywood porch ceiling. It has never disappointed. When using it on panels, I like to make a bunch of little mounds instead of zigzags. This actually uses less material and gives a better overall adhesion, since wavy beads tend to vary in thickness and are sometimes too thin on irregular surfaces, whereas the little globs spread out and fill the gaps better. I had read reviews where the tube had backed up and squeezed out the back. Unlike tubes of caulking where you just cut off the tip, with this product, after cutting off the tip (not too small), you have to puncture the inner foil seal. Often, the wire on the side of caulking gun is not enough. You have to decimate the seal - just punching a few holes is not enough. Make sure what you are using is long enough. I use an old drill bit. You can use a length cut from a wire hanger, for example, too open the seal completely. When you look inside the nozzle, you can see it's open and the adhesive inside. This stuff is gooey and stringy. Wear gloves. Use paint thinner or goof off to wipe drips off hard surfaces. You cannot get this out of fabrics or carpet. Be careful of stepping in drips. I believe that the most expensive job is the one that has to be done twice. Use this and get it right the first time!

Great Adhesive, I used it to put ledger rock on interior wall
I've used SIKA products for years, great viscosity & adhesion. Not wanting the mess using thin set or mortar because the project area needed to stay very clean - as well performed over the course of several evenings. Placed 2'x6" stone (ledger) panels in place & supported as I went (a bit OCD about the project). Worked really well, thick enough that you've got to squeeze a bit harder on the gun - but that's a good thing, it's not super thin like a "caulk" stick well, stays a bit flexible once cured. Get enough for your project, any left over will handy to have on hand.

Great product for repairing water damaged braces and studs and sealing water ingress.
Purchased the SikaBond Construction Adhesive to repair water damage behind the shower. We had the shower itself fixed but plates and studs behind within the wall needed cleaning up. This product did the job and sealed it perfectly.

The quality of this product is excellent.
The quality of this product is excellent, and the manufacturing company has a good reputation in the construction industry. It is a good adhesive that we use for different materials with good results.

This stuff is good, but check expiration date on the bottom of the tubes
Was one of the very few brands from Amazon that wasn't past it expiration date, the other 2 brand names were past by at least 3 years, i took a gamble on these and ordered 5 for the first time Make sure to pierce the inner foil after you cut the nozzle to size. It had great adhesion, clamped two 2x8 together and I wasn't able to get them apart when prying with a chisel. Def worth another purchase

I will be looking for Sikabond from now on!
I am not a professional but I certainly have enough jobs done (or in progress) to have developed quite a resume of failures and successes. The opportunity to test this brand (new to me) could not have come at a better time. I had to disassemble and reconstruct a stone retaining wall for our 2 tier garden. I had exactly 58 stones at 4" H x 8" W x 8" D. Each stone got a generous bead of adhesive and was set in place. I left the stone work over night and checked it the next morning, the whole structure had solidified into one solid wall. I was so impressed I tried very hard to separate the last stone in the end (trying to mimic the force of ice that damaged it in the first place) and it just wouldn't let go. Prying it with a small pry bar, actually started to damage the stone but still no seperation. I was blown away. It is worth noting that once cured, this adhesive is unaffected by water, making outdoor applications perfectly suited. This massive tube (a little more than twice the size of a standard tube) requires a much larger gun which I borrowed from a contractor friend. After I returned his gun, he asked me what I was doing to have needed that size and when I told him, he asked me what brand? I told him Sikabond and heshared with me that it was the brand that many pros use. The list of applications and materials that it can be used for is quite extensive. Stone work and carpentry seem to be at the top of that list. I loved working with it and I equally love the results! For serious strength, I will be reaching for this, from now on. HIGHLY recommended!
